Faith agreed is a private matter. But not once it takes political dimensions. I personally have no problem with Ahmadies doing whatever they wish. They can pray, they can build mosques/temples/churches. As long as the fundemental understanding that they are not muslims is upheld.
The clause in the constitution is barbaric and does not deserve to be there. The clause itself violates the ethos of Islamic jursiprudence. That however does not change the fact that Ahmedies are not muslims and their comments that they are - is in violation of the statements made by the Holy Prophet (SAW).

There is this grave misconception among muslims that shahadah or Kalima tayyiba can be translated as ..."and Muhammad (saw) is His Last Messenger"... the word Last has been incorporated into the translation by the mullah.
Also, all references can be made to the last sermon, but the fact is that a prophet will be coming to the world according to all orthodox muslims. i.e., Jesus (as). Mullahs explain this problem by stating that Jesus (as) was a prophet so his prophethood somehow lies before the final prophethood and his second coming will be only a minor footnote in the history of religion.. How logical!!

I have heard many excuses from Ahmadis but this is a FRESH one, the word "LAST" has been incorporated by MULLAHS??????
So ALLAH sent a promised messiah and 90% of muslims did NOT even know who he was??? He died probably 100 years ago and most muslims around the world still do NOT know about him???? How does that make any sense???
It defeats the purpose of sending a messiah, doesn't it??
As i said earlier, it doesn't mean that Ahmadis should be mistreated, they should be considered a minority and should be treated like any other Pakistani citizen.

Allah (swt) sent the Messiah to Jews and he was unknown in the world for almost 300 years. Historians had to make a lot of efforts to find any reference to Jesus (as) in any texts other than the bible.

On one hand, people are asking " who are we to declare Ahmadis as non muslims" but you read about beliefs of Ahmadis and you will find that people who do not believe in Mirza are considered non muslims.
Just read and decide what Ahmadis think of non Ahmadis:
1- "Except for the CHILDREN OF PROSTITUTE, whose hearts have been sealed by God, everyone else believes in me and has accepted me." (Aina-e-Kamalat-e-Islam, Roohani Khazain vol.5 p.547)
2-"God has revealed to me that anyone to whom my message has reached and he has not accepted me , he is not a muslim." (Letter of Mirza to Dr. Abdul Hakeem Khan Patialvi)
3-"It is our obligation that we do not consider non-ahmadis as muslims and do not pray behind them, because for us they have rejected one prophet (Mirza Ghulam) of God. This is a religious matter and no one has any right to do anything in it." (Anwar-e-Khilafat, by Mirza Mahmood, Khalifa 2, p.90)
**4- (“It has been revealed to me that the person who did not follow me and did not enter into my fold, is disobedient and as such, should be thrown into Hell”), **

I think its not so much a question of Sunnis considering them non Muslims, but the govt getting involved in an issue that was never meant to be the govt bussines, as according to M Ali Jinnah.

I suppose they think the same of them, as most muslims believe of non Muslims who consider the Prophet Muhammad as a fake, along with all the other things they accuse him off.

:k: good job. I don’t know why Ahmadis are not happy being minority and enjoying quotas in government school and colleges- I guess they want to become President of Pakistan and turn Pakistan into Ahmadi Republic of Pakistan.

The translation you provided above is incorrect. Perhaps you are unaware of the word Zurryatul Bagaaya and root of this word.
I will write something about this in main reply to allegation thread.
