The explanation is that all your assumptions are senseless. To me it is contradicitng at all that one person claims to be this and that and doesn't allegedly follow the law of Muhammad Mustafa (saw) There must be something wrong then. Either with the person or with the people who make these assumptions. I have chosen the last option! Evidence? You call this Evidence? I see the moustache of MGA trimmed, when you want to discuss we should discuss about the moustache if MBUDM

And i know how to defend Ahmadiyyat ..... i need no lecture from anyone ..... My belief is simple -> just follow the way of Holy Prophet Hazrat Mohammad SAW and that's the very teaching of Hazrat Masih-e-Maoud ......
Ahmadiyyat doesn't need anyone to defend itself ...... i'm of the firm belief that Allah SWT will do what ever is necessary ...... Remember when Abraha (please correct me if i'm wrong) attacked the Ka'aba and Hazrat Abdul Mutlib went to him to enquire about the whereabouts of his camels and Abraha asked whether he doesn't worry about the Ka'aba .... he said to Abraha, it's Gods House and thus his worry not mine
as an Ahmadi it's my Duty to argue with others in a respectful manner regardless to which ever level he/she stoop ..... i should follow the example of Holy Prophet Mohammad SAW and let Allah SWT convince PPL of ...... i'm just a tool to convey the message

But unfortunately most of the followers of MGA sahab don't follow the appearance **of **both the personalities. Tells us a lot about the passion his followers have for him and the Prophet (saw). I have gone through almost all the pictures on alislam.org so won't be easy for me to accept anything against this arguement.
To be honest, you and I know that even Mirza Masroor Ahmed sahab didn't have proper beard before he was declared khalifa. Even on the day people were taking bait on his hand, his beard was not proper (just as small as when a person doesn't shave for few days). Same goes for Mira Tahir sahab. Is it that they realize keeping "proper" beard (like MGA) only after they are declared khalifa ? In all the pictures of him, people around him look totally different from him, as if belonging to some other group or followers of someone else but not him.
All the Suhabas of the Prophet (Saw) used to follow to their level best (including trimming of mustaches) the appearance of the Prophet (saw). Even from a DISTANCE it was event that they are the Suhabas of the Prophet (saw).

True followers don’t follow the appearance of their beloved ones just after becoming Khalifa. Why pent, shirt and tie before khilafat but “only” shirwani after khilafat.

Dear brother, you have misunderstood the whole point. We are talking of the "trimming of Mustaches" as mentioned in many hadiths. Let me repeat before you derail the thread again. We are talking of "TRIMMING OF MUSTACHES"
Could you repeat one more time?
Because big mustaches makes the drinking water impure for drinking and was strongly discouraged by the Prophet Muhammad (saw) for the appearance of a MUSLIM.
How about using a straw? Can one keep his mustache.

Straw might not help one everywhere. One may keep a straw in one's pocket for emergency cases, but trying eating ice cream, mango,..etc. while having big mustaches might not be a good idea.
In the end, it depends whom we want to follow as our role model and whose instructions hold importance for us. If my ideal tells me to trim my mustaches I don't need to go into ifs and buts, but to follow as he says, because he (saw) knows better than me.

^ Lol :). In fact it is the opposite case. The only thing after "Kalima" that can re-unite all the sects is following the "sunnah of the Prophet" because that is the only thing after Kalima upon which all the sects agree to each other and have no conflict against.
I can be a RAW agent if I tell you to wear uniform of Indian Army. NO, we are discussing here the Uniform of the Prophet Muhammad (saw), which his followers love to wear :)

I do not understand why would the people who do not even care about one of the most important beliefs in Islam, who would not care about the Last Sermon of the Huzoor (SAW), would care about 'trivial' thing like His mustache.

Yes, Ahmadi call him Nabi, Masayah, Kirishn and Mehdi all in one…if I am not mistaken.
So, I think the argument of mustache is not really proper. Ahmadi will still continue to believe him. Let them. Just believe what you or anyone wish to.

Now, please allow me to say few things here.
1- The title does not seem to have proper English. Instead of "from" it should say "to".
2- Even if we fix this minor omission, I must say thread like these are meant for direct incitement even if the word 'honest' is used.
3- One has the right to question other no big deal but one should not directly incite others by asking directly a question.
4- I think the thread starter could have mentioned these pictures and had said, this is why I don't think Ahmadiyat is not related to islam. His own opinion, which he is entitled to by all means and then if discussion was to go on, it would have been less hostile.
Exercise your right all you want but in a better way that's all I am saying.
5- We all know religious beliefs are sacred to everyone and one can argue with other in proper way for the sake of benefit for all to learn.
6- Just because it is a forum where one can have simply a nickname does not mean one goes on and DIRECTLY ask question inciting way. We don't do that in real life simply because its against decent behavior.
What was the last time anyone asked a person of different faith similar question in real life??
