Dear brother, you have misunderstood the whole point. We are talking of the "trimming of Mustaches" as mentioned in many hadiths. Let me repeat before you derail the thread again. We are talking of "TRIMMING OF MUSTACHES"

Because big mustaches makes the drinking water impure for drinking and was strongly discouraged by the Prophet Muhammad (saw) for the appearance of a MUSLIM.

I know you would again try to divert the attention to the beard, but please think calmly, ARE the mustaches shown in the first picture not in accordance to the orders of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) ? How can a man claiming to be very close to the Prophet make such a big mistake in following something which the Prophet (saw) clearly ordered us to follow ?

Please don't disrespect Mirza Ghulam Ahmed sahab. You have no right to do so. I never said he drank water with his beard instead of his mouth. I only said that with big mustaches it is almost impossible for a person to drink water and also be able to prevent water from touching mustaches before entering mouth.

p.s. Is there any disease which causes a person to read the word "Mustaches" as "beard" ?

Try it. The glass is placed under the upper lip, but the water does touch the upper lip as it moves inside the mouth. What if the upper lip is covered with mustache ? Guess, guess :)
