An All California World Series! :-)

Yeah baby!

Angels gonna kick Giants butt, Inshallah!

One word for yesterday's game: DANG!

Kher, I hope Giants win tonight.

Anaheim win 4-1! :hula: :hula:

Giants can blame Hernandez, he is the main reason their team couldn’t win the match. Their batting was OK but they were just unlucky not to score runs. They had more hits than Anglez, but what a game!
Congratulations to Anaheim for winning their first ever championship!

Giants' batting was a let down. Well played Angels.

In any case, after yesterday's loss, Giants didn't deserve to win anyway. A team which goes from 0-5 at 7th to 6-5 at Final really should be the champion. I am sure Giants lost their hearts yesterday.

In a nutshell: Rookie Lackey gets them off to a good start, Anderson has big hit and Percival saves it as amazing Angels complete first championship season.

Angels no longer live under the shadows of LA Dodgers. Tonight, they created history. 42 years after the inception of the franchise, the angels finally win the elusive title. Today, they are the World Champions. Bases loaded, all-star Anderson hits the big one, and all bases are cleared. The score reads 4-1 in favor of Angles.
Some excellent pitching by Angels came next, including the crucial 8th inning pitchiing by K-ROD, the 20 year old kid, the youngest to win a world series ever. In the ninth innincg, baseball is given to the leagues premier closer, Troy Percival, with 2 outs and 2 on, Giants were in position to score the 3 runs and tie the game, but Kenny Lofton lofted a fly ball to center field, for what would be the final out. As Darin Erstad awaited descent, waving his arms frantically so no one dared encroach upon his airspace, catcher Bengie Molina rushed the mound. The celebration began.
The Champagne that was to flow all over the locker room for Giants, had they won yesterday, had to wait till today and for a different team this time.
A Well deserved win by the other team in Los Angeles.

Barry Bonds, the best hitter in the world watches from the losers' dugout, knowing he was once just six outs away from winning the only title he has ever wanted. At 38, Bonds will prolly never win the world series.

Anaheim and the Giants combined for a record 85 runs and 21 homers.

Troy Glaus, the ex-UCLA star was named the MVP.

Angels used 3 rookie pitchers in this game John Lackey, Brendan Donnelly, and Francisco Rodriguez. It's the first time in 93 years that a rookie has won Game 7 of the World Series, and the Angels pitched three consecutive rookies in the final game. One can say that this trio was responsible for all the Giants woes tonight. Tonight Edison Field was the happiest place in the world, not Disneyland :D

Consolation for Giants: Disneyland is only 3 miles from their hotel in Anaheim. Before they head back to Bay Area they can have some fun at Disneyland :D

Giants :stuck_out_tongue:

Ahh the last catch must have been a heart breaker. With two bases loaded, it would have sure enough tied the game.

For the 2nd time this year, there was a victory parade and rally in Southern California. This time to honor the World Champion Angels.
