What a great game, baseball is getting better and better everyday.
Very entertaining game to watch.
Right start from 1st inning to all the way to 9th inning, it was just pure entertainment, whoever said baseball is boring is a fool, when it comes to world series, the whole regular season looks dull.
Even the homerun from Bond at the last inning couldn’t save them.
Very great match. :k:
Series is tied and a good comeback by Anaheim.
I hope this series goes all the way to game 7.
This is as good as it gets. This has been the story of Angels in October - * come from behind* victory. Explosive start by the Angels. But they blew the leads of 5-0 and 7-4 quickly. Much credit goes to the Giants hitters, who were not gonna make it easy for Anaheim.
With score tied at 9-9, the decisive 2-run homer was hit by Slammin Salmon in the 8th innings :D
I personally think much of the credit for this victory should go to Fransicso Rodriguez, whos been nicknamed K-ROD. He threw three perfect innings — nine up, nine down, four strikeouts. In his first inning, he retired Rich Aurilia, Jeff Kent and Barry Bonds on seven. K-ROD now becomes the youngest player ever to win a World series game at 20.
Percival wasnt intimidated bu Bonds in the ninth inning and pitched to him, instead of walking him (Percival had said before the series started that he would pitch to Bonds rather than walking him off). Thats when Bonds hit that long homer. But it wasnt enuff.
Series goes to SF, tied 1-1.

Tim Salmon enjoys a triumphant tour of the bases after his second two-run homer of the game broke a 9-9 tie in the eighth inning.

Francisco Rodriguez, 20, is a record-tying 5-0 in the playoffs.
A fantastic series so far. Salmon, Bonds were amazing. I thought it was over in the first inning but the giants came back. I thought we in for more heroics after Bonds hit the moon shot.
Anaheim win Game 3!
man all these Anaheim batsman are good! almost every one of them were hitting the ball and almost all of them are averaging .400+ in post season.
Well Well Well :D
Angels win 10-4 scoring 16 hits compared to SF's 6 hits.
Barry Bonds hit a homer again, but it was useless and didnt mean much to the team other than his personal stats :D
Angels intentionally walked Bonds in three innings (1,3,5). Finally Bottom of 7, Rodrigues had the courage to pitch to Bonds and was grounded out on 1-2.
Pathetic play by Angelz. Poor throwing by the outfielders reminded of Pak cricket team's play. The fourth run by Snow was preventable if the throw had been on target.
It was nice to see 20 yr old rookie Rodriguez pitching to 38 yr old veteran Bonds :D. Bonds had been walked 3 times earlier when the bases were loaded. At this point, I would say whoever wins tomorrows game, would win it all :D
Pitching is the key. Angels scored 3 runs in the first three innings, and then couldn’t score a single run for the remaining six. As long as Giants pitch unpredictable strikes, they are going all the way.
Game 5: Giants win 16-4
Giants lead the series 3-2
Man, that was a rout today… Angels offensive was totally subdued and their defence was lacking, especially towards the end.
Even though I know very little about baseball at this point, but after watching the first two games, I had predicted that Giants will win 2 out of 3 home games, and that is exactly what happened. The plummeting Giants received in Game 3 was horrible, but they did well to come back in the last two games to subdue Angels.
Giants pound Angels. It was a humiliation, a thorough butt kicking. 16 runs in a world series game also tied the previous record. Angels came close at one point and reduced the lead to 6-4 but Giants hitters made some big hits and played very professionally. After that the rout was on :/

What a great match, another one :biggthumb
Once again another come from behind win by Anaheim till the 7th inning, Angels were 0-5 and the homer gave them life, it was a great match to watch.
I can not wait for game 7 tommorrow, its a do or die situation for both teams, I predict a win for Giants eventhough I like the chances of Anaheim in the series but Giants should win.
Does anybody know who will be the starting pitcher in game 7 ?
This is the best world series I have seen since I started watching baseball couple years ago and even better than last year's WS when 4 of the 7 games were decided in 9th inning.
It was a wonderful display by the Angels.... Looks like the ralley Monkey is Back in Action.
Also giants are themselves to be blamed for this.. they commited a few very stupid errors (specially Bonds.. he fields like Inzamam.. he even looks like Inzamam!!).
Game 7 is going to be fireworks..~!!!... I am rooting for a good game.. Both team deserve to win...
By the way, does anyone know when was the last time 2 wildcards teams went to worldseries??
Angels came to life in the 7th innings. What excitement!
The Angels, facing an elimination game for the first time this October, made history in victory. Never before in World Series history had a team trailed by five runs in an elimination game and come back to win.
Of their 10 postseason victories, the Angels have come from behind in seven. The whole season, they have come back 49 times to win the game.
