He was the mean little dad of Kajol in DDLJ and Mogambo in Mr. India - gosh he was evil with those glaring eyes!! And yep totally freaky in Indiana Jones.

Oh shush. Even today hearing the line Puri uttered “Mogambo khush hua” makes thousands laugh. He was a great actor.

you’re right. It’s none of my damn business. I just found it interesting that people are crying over a guy who CHOSE to portray pakis in a bad light in all those movies. But I shouldn’t have hijacked your thread. Won’t hear from me again unless someone decides to reply to my post again.

In many films he played a good Muslim role. He was in Richard Attenborough Gandhi where he played a Muslim leader supporting Gandhi in South Africa.
Afterall it is a role, and he played the role best.
Roshan Seth an Indian actor cursed Indian in Hollywood film “Vertical Limit” as a Pakistani army person, so does that mean he is Anti-Indian?

call us kuttay, shalay, haram-khor, mullah wife beaters in countless films and than turn around and do a film where he is a “good muslim.” Oh yeah, that makes up for all the other films. Movie role or not. I have a hard time wishing the guy nothing but the burning flames of hell when he calls me kuttay.
