Are you really defending this brutality against the Iranian people? How can a people "follow the law" when that "law" is made up on the fly by an illegitimate government?
They are imprisoning, killing, beating and harassing anyone who dare walk the street or voice conern. The vast majorit of these protests have been peaceful, their concerns and outrage legitimate; yet they are under practical martial law and are being brutalized.
Anyone who dare sanction or justify these actions have absolutely zero credibility to ever pretend to know about or advocate democracy. They have no right to ever accuse another nation of stifling free speech or freedoms. They will not be taken seriously when they call for leaders to be held responsible and prosecuted for heinous crimes. They will not be believable when they say they care about their fellow Muslims and they will certainly be hypocritical if they feign moral outrage over any future slaughter of innocents.
