ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif, who is yet to follow the policy of “forgive and forget” about Pervez Musharraf, has embraced one of the diehard confidants of the dictator, Amir Muqam.
Muqam said Nawaz Sharif would visit his Peshawar residence on April 6 where he and a large number of his followers including influential figures will join the PML-N.
He frankly said that he held talks with the PTI, which gracefully insisted that he associate with it.
He said he was grateful to Imran Khan for this gesture, but added that his leading followers and even family members resisted his possible affiliation with the PTI.
“They were of the view that the League flag that has been fluttering on his residence since long would not be replaced.”
Muqam was sacked by PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain as chief of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter of the party just a day before, suspecting that he was about to switch sides.
Had he joined PTI, he also would have been branded as a lota. Now let me hear what jiyaals have to say about this development

anyway, Amir Muqam have done lots of work in Swat or that is what i was told, he was cornerstone of PML-Q in KPK, his joining of PML-N will strengthen the position of PML-N in KPK...
One of the most closest of Musharraf's ally. He was dear and near to Musharraf even more than Chaudhris. If I remember correctly, Musharraf even gifted him his (Musharraf's) pistol in one of the jalsa in KP.
So much for "we will not accept Musharraf ki baqayaat" from PML(N) : )
