I think she looks nice. What may seem Indian to some looks like typical ‘British Asian Fashion’ to me. I can tell she was going for a typical Asiana/Asian Bride cover bridal look and she pulled it off. At the end of the day these two are British Asians, not NRP Pakistani élites from Lahore/Karachi who would be concerned about wearing Bunto’s/Elan/Maria B for sake of keeping up with the status quo.

I agree with you, Jolie, the Indian magazine cover look is just the norm over here. But just to correct, Faryal is not a British Asian, she’s American. Not sure what look American ‘Asians’ go for?

Anyway, I love her mehndi look.
