When someone takes a knife to threaten or kill someone - We cannot expect GOD to bless them.
I sympathise with the family, yet we should not make him into a Martyr.
(This is only possible in Pakistan!!)

The news story in Dawn contradicts the emotional article in the first post in one critical area. The editor of the Danish newspaper was not even touched by Mr Cheema. Here is the excerpt from the Dawn newsstory that talks about his death in the prison cell.
“The German authorities told us he had a knife in his hand and he said he wanted to kill the chief editor of Die Welt,” the deputy head of the Pakistani mission here, Khalid Usman Qaiser, said.
Security guards at the newspaper prevented Mr Cheema from getting any further than the entrance to the building and the police were called, but the man resisted arrest before being detained, Mr Qaiser added."
According to the Dawn news story he committed suicide by hanging himself in the prison cell. Ofcourse that again contradicts the statement he alleged to have made that when/if released he will attack and kill more people. Either he lost his will to live or else something happened in the prison (torture?). I guess, like most instances like this we will never really know the whole truth. May God have mercy on everyone.
