1) He didnt die for Allah.

2) Taking up a knife to an editor for publishing cartoons is terrorism. Supporting the person who did it IS supporting terrorism.

Allah has asked to fight to protect ourselves. If we die while doing that we are said to have died fighting for Allah. Now I dont see how a kid who commited suicide in prison after terrorising an editor fits into this noble deed. Worse yet, its not just one guy, its like all of this forum appreciates what he did and would do it if they got a chance. That is what is actually disturbing. Dont all of you think it would have been better if Amir Cheema never threatened the editor? That all german muslims could have led a better and more respected life? Perhaps, if this cartoon hadnt been received as it was by the muslim world, it wouldnt have been spread like this and would just die down and be forgotten as anyother saturday morning cartoon. All Muslims are responsible for the reprinting of the cartoons. Now either all of us cant take out knives and start threating each other, or we can really admit that what we are doing is not what Allah wants from us. The Prophet (PBUH) was right to worry about his future Ummah as he did, it totally forgot his teachings. All this cartoon scandal wouldve peacefully died down if the muslim world did the educated thing to do, sincerely tell the wet it wont take any of that becaue we dont like it. Instead of that we had death threats and violent campaigns...which made the west reprint them out of anger (in which they were wrong). So is this guy who indirectly promotes the cartoons, Amir Cheema, our hero??

I think as muslims we have a responsibilty to get other people to join Islam so that everyone can be saved from Hell. We can either do it by restoring muslim image through showing them that muslims are sensible, educated people, or we can chant death threats and then praise ourselves for having killed another kaffir. Im opting for option A... I can only hope others will follow...

There were many factors that show that aamir was killed and that was not suicide case.

1-Why was he not presented to any media for 44 days.
2-There should’nt be any remand as aamir shaheed already had accepted what he did.
3-There was reluctance to hand over his body.

Could 'nt that be simpler like he accepted->be trialed->given the necessary punishment under law->khallas

There is still no news of that editor, which confirms other reports that editor was killed or atleast injured in that attack.

Bao Bihari. How is it ok to kill an editor for printing abusive cartoons? Isnt Islam all about JUSTICE, and EQUALITY? If this is revenge...it was not equal. We can not kill people for such little things and soil our name, just as we can not let them soil our Prophets name, but not in this way man we are not JANGLI we're Allahs masterpiece...

Im sure if any killing did happen, they didnt happen over things as meager as cartoons.

Ill give you a truly shinning example of TOLERANCE excercised by none other than our beloved Prophet.

A woman used to throw garbage over the prophets head. But the prophet never took offence, and quietly walked past unbothered. She finally asked him why dont you respong angrly and the prophets tolerance and attitude led that woman to convert to Islam. Now if Amir Cheema was around, that woman would have been found strangled next morining.

Every unbeliever in Makkah, as far as the prophets own uncles used to ridicule him day and night, much more than any cartoons, but they werent killed over that. Thats tolerance, and I would have great respect for them if our "scholars" taught this beatiful peacful attitude instead of suicide bombing.

The prophet only fought the war with them when they were coming to attack with their army, now this is moving from verbal abuse to physical danger. Thus in this way, Jihad, self-defence, was allowed.

One of the sign of the day of judgement is that "People will be praised for their mischief". Amir Cheema's killing an editor did nothing. It did not stop the cartoons, it did not change how the non-muslims felt about muslims which leads to cartoons and other insult, he actually made it worse. And then he killed the man in a situation which was not "Jihad" so he killed all of humanity.

If the germans tortured Amir, that would be completely wrong, and the Pakistan govt. should hold germany responsible and take serious action against Germany coordinating with other countries and their Human rights organizations. But Im sure some fool would jump out and stab Germans policemen and hope to have his point go through as completely sensible.

Eye for an Eye, Life for Life, but DEFINATELY NOT Life for Cartoon.

First of all sorry to call you Qadyani if you are not!

Then brother its my advice that you do not comment an issue unless and untill you know very well what you say. Our beloved Prophet (SAW) is in no way equal to anything, human or inhuman! Nor equality has to be considered in his case! Printing his cartoons is not like printing anybody else’s cartoon. HE IS SUPERIOR THAN ALL OF US! THAN EVERYTHING IN THIS UNIVERSE!! HE IS NEXT TO ALLAH!!!

If a dog dares any blasphemy for Huzoor SAW… its an order in Islam (clearly understood any completely agreed by all sects), we should kill him at once. If we get hold of him and donot send him to hell we become sinner.

I would not answer any of your questions but your query about Qadyani tells that you haven’t got any basic knowledge of Islam… Brother you should learn things… All of us discussing Islam here were not born scholars nor claim to be one but we try to study Islam whenever we could.

Maybe I really dont know Islam then. I always thought Islam was the perfect religion, that following it would create gentlemen of extreme virtue, of pure hearts and lifestyle free from evil and sin.

You see, killing the editor does not stop the cartoons, the insults, or the hatred that causes them. If it does anything, it worsens the situatuion. If you want to protect our Prophet from insult, then kill the hatred, by promoting peace between the two parties, since Islam is the religion of peace.

We all love the Prophet, we dont want him insulted, yet we fail to see, WE are the reason he is insulted. WE represent the word MUSLIM. And if we make MUSLIM look bad, it will translate to mockery to MUSLIM figure, the Prophet. So kill not the editor, but the violence.

I dont know what a Qadayani is, and my reliance on Islam goes only as far as the Quran and the Prophets. Any other human, sahaba, scholar, religious spritual healer, witch doctor, alim, hakeem, baba fakeer, osama bin ladin etc are not of any religious importance to me whatsoever, so I dont care what qadyani is, but if it defines a person who would like to see more peace and less blood then I am one.

What I meant was, Islam can be understood and followed upon perfectly without the taking into consideration the sahaba, that the Prophet and the Quran is sufficient, not that the shaba are lacking in any way.

Another update

FIA Probe commitee chief tariq khoosa who went for invistigating the death of aamir cheema has said that still it is unclear that he committed suicide or was killed.

According to him German officials did not allowed them to meet the fellow prisioner of aamir and also throat of aamir was cutted which raised suspicion of his death being suicide .

The story was carried n front page of friday 26th Jang, but not in other newspapers.
