America's next war

Re: America's next war

They really don't need bombs and soliders to attack Pakistan, USA is all set to leave a Kashmir like situation in Afghanistan which will have India and Pakistan fighting with each other over regional influence for years to come. The proxy war in Afghanistan between India and Pakistan with China and US secretly aiding and pulling strings of their respective allies is more dangerously draining and bad for Pakistan than being in a direct conflict with USA which of course will end up uniting Pakistan.

Re: America's next war

@stoppit I can see where your coming from, but America certainly does need money and it has plenty of it... for now....

@Jolie very good point there, the new way of waging war is definately the proxy war...

Re: America’s next war

The United States is not in the business of “war.” It becomes a necessity when one has to protect innocents from atrocities and destruction at the hands of tyrants and terrorist groups. The current war on terror is being waged against terrorists who had been conducting their murderous activities throughout the world. Dear Readers, let’s not forget that this war was imposed on us by a group of powerful terrorists who had been attacking us for decades and finally hit our homeland on 9/11, killing nearly 3000 innocent civilians.

We have no intention of continuing this war or starting another one once the region is cleansed of the terrorists. Pakistan has been an important ally in this war, and we have always appreciated their assistance and recognized their sacrifices. Conspiracy theories help no one but create uncalled for hysteria. We need to refrain from that and move forward with the mission of cleansing the region of all terrorist groups. We also want to make sure that they are never able to regroup and create mayhem for the people of the region. That is all that we aspire to, not another war.

what drugs have you been taking?

Re: America's next war

Oh just the regular Afghan stuff :)

Re: America's next war

America likes "jungs" . pakistani ka number ha yaroos!!

Re: America's next war

America likes war, and that may well be true.

But the cowards never seem to fight against anyone who can actually put up a fair struggle. I would love to see the US clash with China in Far East Asia.

If the people of world were to be condensed into a village... 57 of them would be Asians, only 14 would be Americans and that includes both South and North America. Assume then that a war between an Asian emerging Super power and a American waning super power would be a interesting struggle.

The US has some slight advantages, namely millitary hardware etc. But I would hedge my bets on the Asians thumping the Americans in a fair fight.

Plus as a Pakistani I am happy to trust the Chinese as a better power, why?

In the last Century the Chinese have not exactly been angels but just how many countries did they invade and violate?

Compare that to the double crossing, lying, treacherous, twisted and downright disgusting behaviour of the American so called super-power.

Game on. China FTW

Re: America's next war

china would win because they have the numbers i believe they have 1 million more active military personnel than their nearest rival the United States military.

But with American being China's biggest customer in buying goods and transactions it won't happen anytime soon, it would destroy both nations economically if they faced each other in war.

United States struggles against wars against countries with no military like afghanistan they would most definitely struggle and face another humiliation in a war against an army the size of the PRC.

Re: America’s next war

There is no way US will directly go to war with China, that is not US way or policies… Bullies/terrorist look for easy prey and Shri China can rape amreeka like no rape in the history of mankind…

US strategy is to use regional proxies/terrorist to weaken China.

Oh! its the economy stupid.

**The Pentagon and the White House are certainly not ready to accept the notion that America is inevitably facing long-term decline while China is on an equally inevitable rise.. **

The above is welcome news… as they say interesting times ahead…

Re: America's next war

If the US was to wage war against Iran and Pakistan, the fighting would take place there. The US would use tactics like shock and awe and carpet bombng and that would destroy countries like Pakistan and Iran. True the people of these countries would reisist in the way of insurgency, but its infrastructure would be destoyed. Whereas American home soil would not see any sign of war, and would simply be able to walk away at the end.
How much has the US actually lost during this decade of war? The real losers are the Iraqis and Aghans.

Re: America's next war

I cannot see why so many Pakistanis relish the prospect of China as the next super power. China has imperialist policies in Africa and although may be friendly with Pakistan but in my opinion only has imperialistic motives. Pakistan like any other country has many problems but should look inward to resolve them and not to countries like the US, China or Saudi.

Re: America's next war

Drugs made in Izrael.

Re: America's next war

Jeez, wow. Why didn't anyone think of this before? "Carpet bombing" Pakistan's and Iran's combined population. Great idea I should say. Great idea.
bangs the head (not my head).

Iran and Pakistan are not Iraq and Afghanistan. Pakistan is a nuclear state while the talk of war with Iran sends the gas prices through the roof.

I think there should be a penalty for posting such ignorant posts.

Re: America's next war

It will be a counter balance to the US jingoism.

Re: America's next war

I can't really understand the Pakistani, American relationship. Many Pakistanis seem to hate the US and all things Western but at the same time Pakistan cooperates wholehartedly with the war on terror. A war which many Muslims say is in reality a war on Islam. If that is true then does that mean Pakistan is waging war with its own religion? Or is the war on terror (a war which Pakistan is an integral part) actually a just war or Jihad?

Re: America's next war

I don't think this is America's war. Pakistan cooperates with US in this war because Taliban are enemies of Pakistan as well. They have killed more Pakistanis than Americans.
And Taliban do not represent Islam either.

Why do you even bother? Go try to understand why Kashmiris want freedom.

Re: America's next war

I bother so I can learn. This is a topic about Americas wars, something which Pakistan supports. So is it incorrect that Pakistan and the ISI helped create the Taliban but then turned on them when pushed to do so by George Bush and his cronies?
You say the Taliban does not represent Islam but many Pakistanis would disagree, the proof of that lies in the support they recieve from the people.

As for Kashmir, I imagine they want Independence for the same reason other peoples like the Bangladeshis wished for it, but that has little to do with Americas war.
