welcome to another layer of hatred that’ll start now against muslims when media will propagate how mercilessly an American woman is stabbed to death by another woman wearing a burqa in Abu Dhabi. Everything happened in a mall and while there is video footage available, the killer is still at-large.

An American school teacher was stabbed to death in a public restroom at a mall in Abu Dhabi, local police said Tuesday.
A statement posted on the Abu Dhabi Interior Ministry’s website said the victim was a 37-year-old American woman. Her name has not been made public. She was stabbed Monday with a sharp tool that has been confiscated by police. The police said her attacker was wearing the traditional black robe, full-face veil, and gloves commonly worn by local women throughout the Arab Gulf region.
The victim’s 11-year-old twins are now in police custody, where they will remain until their father, who is the victim’s ex-husband, arrives from abroad.
Col. Rashid Borshid, head of the Criminal Investigation Department, said the attacker remains at large. He said police are investigating possible motives and the gender of the attacker.
He said a fight broke out between the victim and the attacker in the women’s restroom just before the stabbing, which took place on the upscale Reem Island in Abu Dhabi.
“The Abu Dhabi Police will spare no effort in order to unveil this heinous crime and bring the culprit to justice,” he said in the statement.
The US Embassy in the United Arab Emirates said they are aware of the incident and are in contact with Emirati authorities. The embassy said it stands ready to offer all possible consular services.
The UAE is a Western-allied, seven-state federation that includes the glitzy commercial hub of Dubai and the oil-rich capital of Abu Dhabi. It is home to a sizable Western population where foreigners outnumber Emirati citizens.
The UAE prides itself on being a safe haven in the turbulent Middle East. It is part of the US-led coalition conducting airstrikes against Islamic State (Isis) fighters in Iraq and Syria.

These are the possible scenarios:

1) burqa woman wasn't a woman at all...it was a man who had some personal issues with the U.S. woman.

2) it was part of the ISIS plot.

3) the US teacher was having an affair with the ninja killer's loaded husband.

My heart is hurting for the twins. I know that when the woman was dying, she must be thinking of her kids. Thank God that father is coming back to take the kids back

Or an ex "friend" of the victim..

In London there was a girl who had acid thrown at her by a woman in a burqa who turned out to be someone (non-Muslim) she'd fallen out with before.. I think personal reasons might be the motive here as well..

Can't believe the killer was able to get away so easily..

yeah that's almost what my first scenario suggested...similar incident happened in Qatar but without the burqa.

Hopefully, the person in burqa will be caught soon.

Just been reading more about it.. The attacker waited in the bathroom at the mall for an hour and a half before the victim arrived and was killed.. The killer stopped to say something to a security guard and picked up a newspaper before that.. The lady in the bathroom cubicle next to where it happened, as well as other witnesses, heard two women argue and one was telling the other “sit down or I’ll kill you.” Security guards were called whilst this was happening and ran towards the bathroom but the killer STILL managed to walk out without being stopped :smack:

I reckon the killer lured the victim to the mall.. Apparently the locals think it was to do with a guy/some sort of affair..

Security guards in Gulf countries are ponce. But I'm quite positive the police will find the killer. They always do.

First thing to do when you suspect a burqa killer - get a woman to pull the face cover off ... It is necessary.

They all realised that the woman was dangerous because they were fussing around her ... useless

I'm sorry to say that body shape is of no man ... that is a woman ...

Police arrested the woman while she was placing a home made bomb at another western person's house.

“She aimed to create chaos, shake the security in the country, and terrorize people in the UAE,” police said in a statement Thursday, adding that the woman confessed.**
Saif Bin Zayed, UAE minister of the interior, said the suspect — seen in security footage fleeing the scene of the crime covered in black robes from head to toe — is an Emirati national in her late 30s. Her name was not released.

She allegedly knifed kindergarten teacher and mother of three Ibolya Ryan in a bathroom stall at the Boutik Mall on Reem Island on Monday afternoon, leaving behind a bloodied kitchen knife before she hustled into an elevator and out of the building.
“After committing the ruthless crime…the suspect moved to another location later that day to plant a primitive bomb in front of an Arab-American doctor’s home — a doctor who has dedicated his life to saving the lives of others,” the interior minister said.
“One of his sons discovered the bomb while he was heading to the mosque for the sunset prayer. Security forces were able to dismantle the bomb at the right time before it was detonated.”

The bomb was made of small gas cylinders, a lighter, glue, and nails “to cause maximum injuries when detonated,” officials said.

Ibolya Ryan, a 47-year-old U.S. teacher who was stabbed to death in the bathroom of an Abu Dhabi shopping mall by a robed figure on Dec. 3.It’s unclear how investigators were able to identify the suspect, who was fully cloaked in a traditional black robe, known as an abaya, and wearing gloves and a full face veil known as a niqab.
They had released surveillance footage of the woman — whom they dubbed the “Reem Island ghost” — entering the mall, heading to the restroom and then fleeing 90 minutes later.
A second video released by the Ministry of the Interior showed the robed suspect with a suitcase, and then a white car is shown driving away.
Heavily armed officers with bulletproof vests were then seen raiding a house with the same white car parked outside. Waving guns, they handcuff and lead a female out. The female’s face is not shown — but further images show the same suitcase inside the car and a steering wheel covered in blood.

The attack on Ryan comes just weeks after the U.S. embassies in the Middle East warned citizens of an anonymous posting on a jihadist website encouraging attacks against teachers at American schools in the region.

Emirati police are good. Didnt think she would be caught so quickly. Even when the Mossad agents assassinated the ex-plo in Dubai, these guys solved the crime very quickly and thoroughly.
