We can rule out an ISIS hand in this.If they had been behind it,they would have wasted no time to propagate it on social media an Internet.
There is a video posted by Interior Ministry of UAE on YouTube showing cctv footage of the woman in the mall & later on in the apartment building of the Egyptian American family. It ends with raw footage of Abu Dhabi police barging in her house & arresting her & another man. It also has some graphic pictures of the aftermath in the mall restroom.
As a person who was born in Dubai & who also happens to have a sister that does Abaya & Niqab, this was some pretty disturbing stuff to watch. Not to forget the women killed has left 11 year old twins behind.
What hits me most is that even locals of a place like Dubai are not immune to this jaahil mentality of taking innocent lives away. Wonder how twisted someone has to be to actually murder someone & that too a mother.
On top of that I can't even imagine the kind of backlash this will result in for women who wear Abayas (especially black ones) in non Muslim countries. I don't know if its the way the video was edited or the background music in it but that Abaya clad woman had such an ominous aura about her. This is just going to instill more fear among the Non Muslim lot who thanks to the media already have a hard time understanding what true Islam is about.
Kudos to Abu Dhabi police for finding the culprit right away.

Let alone non-Muslims...heck even I'm scared of abayas and Niqab wearers now. I've been trying to avoid restrooms of shopping malls...but can't be avoided with 3ltr of water in the stomach.
