After spending a year here i am sickand tiredof the United kingdom, and a couple of days back somethng happened that put me off even more( might write it in my journal aomeday) , so I am contemplating moving to America, b i wan to plan it firs asi came to england without any planning, so tell me
1 abou the cost of living
2 how friendly are the peole there
3 how difficult is it to find jobs and what sort of jobs
4 uni’ and professional organizations, how expensive are the studies?
5 and all elsethat you think matters
lifehas been hel for the las one year so don’t wan to move to another ****typlac… need ur advise,
Plus people in Dbai feel free to reply as well and in austria and holland. i want to check all my options.
well sweet liar it depends on the visa as well , i would have to find out how long it takes to get a new visa. the thing is if i do't get settled in canada i'll be a dead duck.
jobs and such all depend on your profession
cost of living and friendliness factor all depend on the area u live in
the midwest for example is known for friendliness and low cost of living but the trade off is that the communities are tiny :)
so more details and we can help you out better
plus how much does a good desi or muslim community matter to u?
thats usually a point to ponder as well
well the first thing that would matter to me is the low cost factor as i don't wat to spend too much money without securing a proper job first. secondly in Britain desi's can be found left right and centre but no use, so there goes the commuity thing, yes i would love to join in if there are proper community forums but even if i am living amongst a small community it doesn't matter. secondly i wopuldn't want to be in a position where i am unemployed and dependent on others , thirdly i'll be on a stdent visa most probably so have to check some good professional training institutes as well.
MYwish - If you'd like for a greater number of informative replies, I can move this thread to the "travel and tourism" forum. That would ensure no flooding here, and you'd get some good answers, hopefully.
international students CAN study full time
i think it sounds like the most important thing for u is continuing ur studies
ur best bet is probably a state university, research opportunities are good, campuses are big and diverse w/ decent facilities and tuition is affordable
try collegeboard.com and try a search there
1500 pounds x 1.74 = 2,614 US Dollars ~
1500 pounds x 2.07 = 3,105 Can Dollars ~
I guess for expenses restricyed to living only you can last 4-5 months in USA, provided you do not have any other expense
In Canada may be 5-6 months depending on the place you live, provided you have no other expense. If you get immigration to Canada properly, there are multiple other assistive services, and ways the government helps the immigrants to get settled.
