American accent..

This is an ofshoot of my other thread where one guppie said that “Pakistani girls don’t speak English”

Now having grown up in ISB, I know that is false. But how about accents? Hearing a thick desi (or brit for that matter) accent is like someone stabbing my ear with a hot fork.

Any chance I can find a girl in ISB with an american/clean accent?

I know some people from Pakistan who speak English with an American accent and I doubt they've ever been to America.

I didn’t say I liked it. I just said I was “cool” with it ie can live with it. Pathan girls r hot though - too bad majority of them r paindoos.

That'll be hard to do - i have a long reach.

But no I dont want her to have a clean accent for work. What if we go out for dinner with non-desi frnds or folks from work - it"ll be awakard to hear a very thick desi accent without everybody on the table cracking up. :/

I'm surprised you can't find a girl with an American accent in Islamabad. I was there for a while last year and Islamabad is full of people who can speak in a pretty-decent/perfectly American accent.
