The secular elite are only secular in their personal lives, not in the way they run the country. They have failed Pakistan not because they were secular, but because they were NOT secular. Its the mixing of religions with politics that has destroyed the country. Its not to little Islam, its far to much. It the cynical amalgamation of secular British system with vague “Islamic” constructs that has failed he country, and has done a disservice to not only secularism but also Islam.

very weird view you have of pakistan lets bring up few examples of pakistan laws to show it is you who has no clue what is going on:

-interest based transactions.
-Obscenity continues under the guise of freedom of expression.
-Government officials have immunity to commit crimes.
-Pakistan’s foreign policy is in reality america’s foreign policy
-Multinational companies have free hand to monopolize resources

just a few examples of many hundreds of secular laws and you claim Pakistan is not secular hmmm

article 2 of the constitution, Islam is viewed NOT as a divine source of legislation but as “the state religion of Pakistan”. This is no different from Western states view of the Christian religion in their lands.
