Seriously! It’s easy to pull out random news items and gloat over how “sick” America is, but the ground reality is that this country is safer for women. I’ve lived as a single woman in various places in the US.. from a bustling metropolis to a small rural town, and never have I felt threatened or been harassed for being a woman. How many single women in Pakistan (or India) can say that?

No one is claiming that the US is crime-free. Of course not! But we live here with the reassurance of a good first-response system (911), support networks (shelters for women, homeless, helplines), a decent legal system, and most importantly, public support and sympathy for the victim of such crimes.

It’s obviously only people who have never been to the West who think it’s safer for women in Pakistan or India or that they’re treated better.. The fact that a single woman can live alone here or walk down the street without attracting negative attention is something that’s conveniently ignored..

What happened to the poor woman is despicable. The U.S is an economic superpower and this is happening, I just dread to think what the country will be like in 20 years from now when poverty further increases there.

The only difference I have noted between developing and developed states is that the developed ones have a system in place and make you feel more secure even if they are less safe than developing countries. Just as much if not more crime takes place in the developed countries as compared to the developing countries. The developed countries instead of wasting money on causing death and destruction everywhere in the world on behalf of the Zionists should focus on improving the quality of life of its own citizens., that would be money well spent.

That isn’t the only difference.. An obvious one which has already been mentioned is how the victim is treated by the justice system and society in general (and your point about violent crime + rape only making the local news is not true.. Here in the UK it OFTEN makes the national media)..

In many Muslim countries if the victim isn’t punished by the law how likely is it that she’ll be able to marry (if she’s single) or her family/inlaws won’t feel shame or embarrassment at what happened and hide her away or maybe even blame her?
