Ditto... I'm punjabi so deff love my short kameez and shalwars. some of the new stuff is cute..but majority just looks odd.

its not about wearing fitting clothing, i just dont like lonngg shirts on baggy trousers it looks odd :S

i went to a paki ladies gathering last Monday aur wahaan lerkiyaan yehi rona ro rahi thi… kay khulay kapray pehannay parh rahay haen ab, as per the fashion

I don't think it's about khulle kapre or tang kapre. It's more about the design and style of those kapre. Those A lines and flowy material and those trousers make me puke. There is no such thing as a shalwar kameez any more. No bazoo. No duppatta...

A shalwar kameez or a short shirt with patiala shalwar can NOT BE TIGHT FITTING but at the same time tailored properly to your body type too.

Oh and as long as I am venting i’ll vent about Anarkalis too. It doesn’t suit heavy chested women and it doesn’t suit heavy women in general…

That style accentuates your boobs, and trust me some women look gross in them…

and Anarkalis always remind me of naach ganey wali aurtain on khotey and bheiteks so I steer clear from them… yeh so my opinion :chai:

As much as I lov them and feel comfortable in them I've noticed they age me about 5-10 years. Not a good thing!

I love the short shirts, but am totally loving the long shirts too right now!! Hope it stays a while longer!!!

I’m so happy with the long and flowy shirts that are in fashion these days, mein pregnant hoon na… people can’t even tell I’m pregnant when I wear them :cb:

i loove them, especially when they are very loose fitted and flowy, dont look too thin then :smiley: but i dont like the open trousers though :bummer:

I absolutely adore them. There's so much you can do with them design wise and they look great on everyone. Any age/size.

If you are short, or of medium height and have small hips then short kameez's and patiala's look lovely. I personally LOVE the long shirts with different cuts! They are very versatile! Looks nice on medium/tall girls..

I like this new long shirts trend!.. i'm heavy n wide as in body size but still wear it, it depends whether you can carry it with confidence.
Poor girls who love their tight fitting dresses really are not enjoying this new fashion hah!

Longer kameezes look better on my frame, so i'm all for them!

I definitely prefer longer kameezes, I never really liked the uber short kameezes.
