Try Nyx, they do sooooo many colours and are highly pigmented, if u google the name there are loads of reviews about, imo they’re as good as MAC but at a fraction of the price, also Inglot, not as well-known or as inexpensive but v.similar to MAC in terms of products, choice of colours and even their packaging..
lolz...I don't know what is so great about MAC or some other particular name. I just pick up anything I like without paying much attention to the brand name.
I don't think it's about being rich. MAC eyeshadows and lipsticks are not that much more expensive than drugstore brands (unless you're going for the £2 stuff) and the quality is much, much better on the whole. Same goes for the brushes.
I spend my money wisely and don't buy lots of stuff just for the sake of owning that colour or whatever.

I am rich enough but I don't give a damn bout MAC. Well I don't give a damn about any kind of make up but that is another story. Forget MAC, it is stupid. Don't ever feel bad about what you read in threads. Just pray for your kismet iA.
I love MAC and I think I love it because I have yet to have a bad experience with any of their products. Every single thing I have purchased from the MAC line has met or exceeded my expectations.
I have tried Inglot and I have to disagree that it is not comparable to MAC quality.
I do use drugstore brands for things like eye-liner and mascara......stuff that you only keep for a couple of months and then throw out.
I'm not ricn enough either, but quite frankly i'm quite satisfied with my drugstore brands and i don't really feel deprived.
U didn't think I actually feel deprived? Hehe. I'm happy with my not-so-expensive brands too. But I read so much MAC on GS in the past couple of days, I had started to believe everyone on here used nothing but that :)
