Gupsters, you know I am new and all. So its like many things well puzzlify me here. One thing which truly capture my attention is that images people choose under their nicks. Now what makes people choose a certain pic for themselves. I tend to think thats how they project their personality to public. Well even if thats not the case still the public looks at their images and project their personalities in their mind.
And when the public contains the Wise Man his imagination runs haywire and all hell breaks loose. So just taking a look at images in my first post these deep thoughts come to mind.
Puther-Jibraan= neurotic kid on drugs
Mindless = chubby woman who is suffering from various physchlogical disorders
Eastern Analog = grown up man who still cries like a baby and calls his momi everytime he gets a chance. Also like saturday morning cartoons and gigles everytime he sees barney.
isloo_ki_anarkali = clueless and a weirdo. Also might be in devil worshiping.
CM = a serial killer on the loose. Highly dangerous and mentally deranged.
Anchal = pretending to look beautiful eventhough she is only a average looking woman growing even more bitter with age. Might also be suffering from schizophrenia.
NaikLarki = awesome intelligence, charm, wit and charisma. (ok so I am bias…SUE ME)
Now this just a sample of what comes to mind when I see people using images for their nicks. There are many more examples. Now I think images are childish and immature. I might be wrong but thats just my opinion. Though just notice that two wisest folks on Gup never choose any image. Well just look at my first post. Do you see any image under Muzna and I. I think not Watson.
Sajal = pimple face young woman who wears glasses. Trying very hard to look beautiful and happening. Thinks her dady is just awesome. Might be a chronic reader of Harlequin books and lives in a fantasy world.
I wonder if this thread will cause people to remove their icons.
Well I dont see it as immature at all, Its just a way in which certain guppies can put forward an image of themselves, and these icons also help other people to form an opinion about a certain person.
Wiseman ... it means is someone doesn't have an icon, he doesn't have any personality. He is a roling stone, "be-painda lota, jidhar pani zeeada uss taraf tooti".
Come on man, the purpose of icon is not to judge the personality but it the matter of choice to represent one's ownself. In real life I look/behave entirely different from the icon I am using here. My icon represent (in my own sense) a spy or a pauper price or a gangsta ... a mafia man etc etc. but in real life I am not associated to even one single thing like that.
No WiseMan I am afraid you have a somewhat wrong interpretation of one's icon. But still a good try.
I guess if you had said all the things you said in a postive manner I might have agreed that people 'trying-to-portray-themselves' theory. But see its a matter of personal choice and not PERSONAL CRAVINGS to be somebody else.

but i dont think its reflective of anything really for some ppl... altough some pictures of ppl that have been posted in galery have resembled their guppie icon..
Wise Man. You are very wise my friend. You confirm if there was any doubt in my mind about the people with images. Now, can you tell anything about people by the signatures they use? It’s like bumper sticker on their butt.
