am i an abcd?

Re: am i an abcd?

i see that drama too.. i do agree with you here that the guy knew how she was, what her lifestyle was like and how americanized she was.
Anyways .. if she was a desi or an american girl with the desi attitude/ thinking and lifestyle, then she would have changed herself for her husband (and the husband shud have changed him for her), but since she wasnt and he liked her and married her knowing that she was open minded and an american girl. Also sharing the household work wont kill him, why cant he do the laundry some days, ok if not do it all just be resposible enough to gather all the dirty clothes or put the washed clothes to dry, like he used to do it before. I hate it when men try to be babys, I dont know why men make it their ego when they are asked to do some household chores, as small as vaccuming the house or putting the dishes in the dish washer or even bringing a glass of water for their wife or even for themselves.. grr i hate such type of men. It all depends on how they are brought up, but guys who have spent time away from family on thier own are different (i hope).

in the actual story, the girl is french, she dies in the end, and she really loves Arfeen.

ps. i also dont like the inconsiderate portrayal of ABCD gals, but then the story is not revolving around ABCD gal, its about the mother whose false testimony on Quran put her on a death bed, her one daughter becomes a widow, the other got a divorce (where her husband marries a tawaif) and now son will be two time divorced.

Word.

Dont blame poor writer for this. I read the original novel, she hardly mentions Arfeen’s life after the wedding. Or so i remember:konfused:

This is the only urdu novel i have read in my life and I am stuck on why on earth wont Saba swear on Quran. Someone?
