am i an abcd?

That’s true. She was softer. But Sabah still stood up to the Elders of the family. She didn’t stand up to him because such an occasion never really arose. The only real issue between her and Arfin was when the accusation of her having an affair with Adil came up. And in that case, she stood up (had to stand up to him and the whole family) because she was indeed innocent.

But at earlier points in the drama, I think she does make her bold opinions/views known to elders (much to their dismay)…though she does it in a more polite manner than Mahroush, but it’s still strong.

He just can’t handle Mahroush’s level of independence and strong thinking. He likes women who have confident/independent/open-minded thinking (not like own sisters)…but his image of a confident women is one who also will not question finances and will entirely manage the stereotypical female responsibilities/household duties. Sabah was different because she questioned things/went against the grain of his family, and talked pretty philosophical things…but that’s as far as he would have wanted it to go. I wonder if he’d have gotten upset at Sabah if she thought that it would be okay for him to cook dinner at times…and if she questioned him about finances. Sure, one might argue that Sabah may not do these things. But if she DID…would he be just as upset a he was at Maroush…or would he be forgiving because he’s soooo in love with her? ****He was never in love/or attracted to Mahroush, so that make it harder for him to tolerate her.
