eye-rack would never be the model democratic muslim country that neo-cons and bushties had envisioned. City-state of Kabul and country of Afghanistan are far from that state. US of A needs an intermediate victory to present to the world a modern, moderate, muslim country that is economically thriving and provides its citizens with assortments of rights and liberties hallmark of a true democracy. That country could be Pakistan.

There will never be a "Model" "Muslim Country". There can ONLY be a "Model" "Country". The concept of countries has no significance in Islam. Whenever, the Muslims get into the vanities such as 'Which is your country'? & 'My country is X'. 'Who is your president?' etc, they will always stand to be the losers! Guaranteed.
The success for Muslims only lies in following the footpaths of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH); the way his actions described the Islamic nation - based on 'nusrah' (supporting the cause of religion) and 'hijrah' (migration for the cause of religion). Once the Muslim are united based on these two principles; only then they will rid themselves of humiliation, oppression & tyranny.

What I have pointed out has stood true throughout the history. It's not some apparition or a far-fetched fancy, such as when the confused and degenerated are trying to invent new principles of 'moderation' and 'nationhood' based on the rules in which Allah (SWT) has put no success for His followers.

Your points are still very vague and generalized. I am not sure who is considered a ' lazy-bum back-ward' Muslim?, and why do Muslims have to shun their ways to assimilate with the West. In fact the West has a lot to learn from the Muslims to cure its prevalent societal decay.

I am glad you mentioned the great nation of Turkiye. Majority of Turks don't want to be a part of the EU because of their strong Muslim identity -- they love their mosques etc. But, Turks also don't want anything to do with other Muslims and ay-raabs. Pakistanis are different. :D

Let me give you an example - there were two main phases during the prophethood of Mohammad (PBUH); in Makkah and Medinah. During the times of Makkah, after the revelation, the only purpose given to them was to remain stead-fast, patient and constant in order to strengthen faith in Allah.
During the times of Medinah, when the faith was truly established in their hearts, and they knew what it means to be Muslims through their deeds and actions, only then the Muslims went on the offensive in every sphere.
I believe that the current state of the Muslims is reminiscent of the former one. Where, we have even forgotten who our Creator is. Muslims must act to strengthen their fundamentals before any success would come in their way, as a nation.

pakistan? democracy? thriving? rights? somehow all these don't match at all.pakistanis are ****heads.they don't give a fudge about any other muslim / muslim nation.no wonder they are hated by every1 through out the world n they truely deserve everything thats coming their way.sooner / later it will cease to exist.no doubt about that.they are losing their identity, culture, religion and everything else that make them stand out as pakistanis.also no one is more cheaper than them.u can buy dime-a-dozen pakistanis n have fireworks in which ever mosQue / temple / church / school etc u want.
if u still think pak can be a model for whatever reasons then i suggest go live there, experience n then tell us how will this happen?
