Re: Arrest made in Imran Farooq's murder case / BBC documentary reg AH
Errr what?
The fact that noise made by PTIans has achieved a historic breakthrough i.e putting pressure on Met police and the authorities and that's all they needed and could hope for. They made a point, conveyed a message and raised awareness. They single handily turned the whole case into a popular mainstream issue that could not be ignored. So job well done for them.
Instead wasting your energies painting ZM as a saint sorry as a shair, you are better off acknowledging and appreciating all sorts of different factors that caused this domino effect.
*I am not denying this. But case like this you need proofs, otherwise there is no case. kawon ki tarah kaaian kaaian karnay se kuch nahin hota. I never painted ZM as saint. Name any other politician who has agreed to witness against AH.

For now its only ZM and couple of other junior MQM workers (as per reports) who have agreed to witness against AH. On the same token, I won't rule out Imran's involvement either. Depending on the momentum this case picks up, I see more and more Pakistanis or even the federal government getting involved in it.
People of Pakistan ever so slowly breaking the chains of fear and finally speaking against MQM in various forms and degrees.
Re: Arrest made in Imran Farooq's murder case / BBC documentary reg AH
Read my post 330 again. you call ZM as criminal is already witnessing against AH. Again without proof and witnesses, the hue and cry of PTIans would go down the gutter.
I doubt it that any murder charge against Altaf Hussain would stick, as there are plenty of MQMers willing to take the fall for him. Plus, he has always been in the UK, so it is unlikely there would be any tangible evidence against him, unless someone relevant from Pakistan testifies against him.
However, the money laundering charge, which has come about as a by product of the Imran Farooq murder case, will probably be easy for Scotland Yard to prove, as at the end of the day, it is Altaf Hussain who has to defend the presence of tons of cash in his house. He would have to provide a valid trail of that cash, otherwise he will very likely be convicted.
Zulfikar Mirza is just a clown, who is now again looking for his 2 minutes of his fame. All these years, he was whiling away in Dubai, and now that the case has been brought into the limelight, he jumps in.
Re: Arrest made in Imran Farooq's murder case / BBC documentary reg AH
Money laundering indeed looks like the main charge against AH for now. However, one cannot overrule the possibility that he could get slapped by couple of terror charges as well, if somehow the witness testimonies could prove that British soil was used to order killings and launch terrorism abroad.

Planning, ordering and financing a murder is as good as killing someone in person. If the Scotland Yard is able to establish AH as the planner of the murder, then he is in for a big trouble. Raza Haroon, along with Anis Ahmed Khan advocate, are alleged to be the main testifiers againt AH.

He is a clown or not, but he is the first Pakistani politician who dared two years ago to speak openly against AH and his cronies in the media, he is the first politician who is witnessing against him in Scotland Yard. He was home minister Sindh and must have a number of proofs for the brutality and killings by this mafia on the instructions of Bhai who was controlling them directly from London.
Re: Arrest made in Imran Farooq's murder case / BBC documentary reg AH
^ he is not the first, few years back IK filled a case against him in London before ZM
In public media he was the first one to talk openly against AH and his cronies. After his press conference, others came slowly and slowly to talk against this fascist party. In a few days if AH is arrested, then see how every one talks against him openly and I am sure people who are very near to him will spill out what he did in all these decades.
Re: Arrest made in Imran Farooq’s murder case / BBC documentary reg AH
Raza Haroon was reportedly manhandled, along with other senior colleagues, after the (in)famous 19th May drama of Altaf Hussain at Nine Zero. The Rabita Committee was dissolved following that address and Raza Haroon has been mysteriously silent since that day. His wife was also arrested along with Altaf Hussain’s cousin and Shaleem Shehzad while returning from Canada. She is on bail these days and cannot leave Britain.
.No I think Haroons are in London , prob in some safe house .... Haroon's wife was among the last person who was seen with Dr imram on the fateful day...and she supposedly served them meal.......
she was grilled for 7-8 hours ... and along with that cousin of Altaf Hussain in on bail ....!!
things my turn ugly ... esp in Karachi after 17th ...when A H may be formally charged in front of a magistrate in LONDON ... he has been asked to appear before one on the 17th .
