Karachi backlash is what Is I fear for that it will be shut down for many days if such thing happens. But I hope this statement 'night is darkest just before the dawn' proves true for karachi and it lifts again.

If AH is indicted in this murder case by British Police, they give a damn if whole Pakistan is shut.

Peaceful resident of Karachi has given lots of sacrifices and suffered since inception of this party. They don't mind temporary sufferings if Bhai is indicted in murder case.

^ yet PPP was in bed with them during last 5 years, didn't gave the evidences of Dr's murder, didn't present those caught in this case in front of media and still offering them to join the govt

That is another issue, and mostly deals with the Sindh's politics. Killing/murder convicts are criminals should be punished according to law irrespective of any party affiliations.

Its not been widely reported, but it has been reported on the media nonetheless. Both Geo and the News have carried articles on it, however, theres very little about it on television. Not sure if George Gallaway has called the arrested guy Altaf's cousin because they share the same last name, or because he has factual information, but this is big. Guy's name is reported as Iftikhar Hussain.

I am sure the ‘tatheer’ of MQM and recent killings of its members had a lot to do with it. Scotland Yard saying they are investigating links in South Africa and Pakistan too.

trust George Galloway to know more than Pakistani media about Altaf Hussain. He has been on his case since a decade now. ;)
why is MQM raabta committee so silent on such an achievement? normally they issue statements within 5 mins of an incident? This is such a major achievement. Founding member's murder is about to be solved... Saanp soongh gya hai kya?

Actually, Altaf's statement tickers are running on Geo and ARY, where he is calling for party workers to not be confused by news reports, and in case of questions, contact the rabita committee. Seems like something is cooking.
