Parties opposing MQM in Karachi must take it to streets protesting against the killing and demanding arrest of this mafia.
Let them die their own political death.. which is now not very far away. We don't want another shaheed in this country.. we had enough share of these shaheeds..
I think the media should telecast more of his speeches specially after 2 a.m in the morning. The drunk idiot trying to bully his rivals will finish himself politically without anyone doing anything against him.
Here it is very important that it is very important to know that MQM was not founded by Altaf . It was organized by the gentleman Azeem Ahmad Tariq and Altaf was running a taxi in New york those days in search of a dreen card . It was establishment which brought him in Pakistan and promoted him .

****LONDON: The Scotland Yard anti-terrorism unit raided two houses in London in connection with the murder of former Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) parliamentarian Dr Imran Farooq, Express News reported on Tuesday.
The houses were located close to the deceased parliamentarian’s own residence. The raid lasted for five hours and police took evidence into custody.
A Pakistani-British was also interrogated in relation to this case today. Background
Dr Farooq was stabbed to death in Green Lane on Edgware Road on 16 September, 2010 – but leads in the case have been few and far between – or at least not publicised. The anti-terrorist unit of the Metropolitan Police had said that, a few months before his murder, Dr Farooq had been trying to create his own independent political “profile”.
The police force had hinted about the possibility that Dr Farooq might have been thinking of embarking on a new political career, and, therefore, it wanted to talk to everyone who were in contact with him from a political perspective.
It also noted that Dr Farooq had created a new Facebook profile in 2010 and had established many new contacts on the social forum.
This is basically a warning to Altaf Hussain, stop making those gruesome open threats at the expense of embarrassing Britain or this case will be the rope around your neck (or is it already?). They certainly have him under immense pressure right now.
^ I dont think Scotland Yard would go there for just a warning service. ( I certainly hope not). The stories have been circulating speak otherwise. I hope they are true and rope is indeed tightened sooner rather than later.
I'd like to see how this story unfolds in the upcoming days. Despite all the news that's been circulating, either Scotland Yard can make minor arrests, just focus on the lower branch of the party and that would, at most just damage MQM's reputation as a party (as if they care). Or they can go into the heart of the matter, target the top leadership and drag Altaf Hussain into the courtrooms. Either way, the British government has decided to bring Altaf Hussain to his knees or they have finally decided to get rid of him altogether.
they were showing on Express news, one house was owned by Altaf Hussain, bought about 11 years ago, for some 140 thousand pounds (dont remember exact figure, it was more than hundred thousand pounds though)
LONDON: Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism officers have made the first arrest in the Dr Imran Farooq murder case. A British citizen of Pakistani origin was arrested Monday morning at the Heathrow Airport when he returned from Canada.
Officials from Metropolitan Police confirmed to Geo News that the 52 year old suspect had been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder Dr Imran Farooq. Metropolitan Police also confirmed that further arrests would be made in the case.
Last week, the Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Unit conducted a 55 hour search at two North West London residential addresses with one of them belonging to MQM chief, Altaf Hussain.
Dr Farooq, the former convener of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) was stabbed to death outside his home on 16th September 2010 as he was returning home.
The UK police are investing the murder of Dr Farooq case on several lines, including one strong line of investigation that Dr Farooq was in discussions with his colleagues and members of the public to start his own independent political career.
