Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

Why would anybody hide their admiration of one of most the foresighted leaders of Pakistan? He warned against the ISI sponsored jihadi threat that would engulf Pakistan while all of you were on the chosni.

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

what a joker. . . .

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

you mean those old days when he was working very hard to extort money and terrorize citizens of karachi? or the other days when his gang was hard at work which got mqm declared a terrorist organization much much later, and didn't he run away from pakistan because he couldn't face the cases pending against him? so when is this visionary leader of pakistani people coming back to rescue the people of Pakistan? can you ask him to come asap and save swat since he seems so hurt over it?

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

Please provide proof of extortion and don't just repeat propaganda you grew up up from paid journalists.

Cases in Pakistani courts are meaningless. Anyone in power can register cases, while the real terrorists like Burqa Aziz can roam free even when the evidence is clear. And who will bring barbarian Ghair muslim Khan to court? No one.

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

you obviously have no answers. NRO covers his crimes too, why isn't he back if he claims to speak for the middle class of Pakistan? or is it cuz he's ashamed of the nation that he considers a mistake and should never have been made?

btw it wasn't a pakistani court (which according to u establish cases based on false accusation), it was another court. i'll let u guess which one, that declare mqm a terrorist organization.

i know you don't have answers for all this, just the parrot-punchlines that you grew up with from paid mouths of mqm :)

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

I have been on this forum for 3 years but he hasn't ever answered a single question like this so don't expect anything. He is no different to a brainwashed taliban fighter who doesn't know who his victim is, what his agenda is etc etc. He only knows one thing "MQM zindabad, baqi Pakistan bhaar main jaaye. "

Shahbaz: Fan of Swat System?

Shahbaz Shareef thinks Talibans court system will be a successful model and adopted by rest of the nation. He pointed out what “great” things talibans have achieved so far.

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

Agreed wholeheartedly ...

Re: Shahbaz: Fan of Swat System?

Did you really read the article?

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

I can't believe you are asking for "proof of extortion" and calling it propaganda. My family has shops in MQM's garh, and areas which are not "MQM-garh"... the MQM goondas show up monthly at their businesses and handout receipts of "donations" forcibly, people who didn't give money shown on "receipt of donations" suffered really badly.

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

^ proof of extortion by mqm, is not as apparent, or widespread, as that of talibans. Mqm is a mainsteam political party, and just like any other party of its stature, it can cleanse itself of bad elements. Why? because extortion is not part of mqm's published manifesto, unlike these religiously inclined militant groups. Mqm's leadership is too educated & open minded, to be compared with these weasals. Since all major parties now bowing down to mullahs, its time to thank mqm, for defying this trend.

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

ok so the Taliban are giving us a hard time and we are trying to deal with that menace but doesnt mean we should be bothered to bow down to the goons and ghunda's !

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

Well said, educated leadership; controlled by a coward sitting 8000miles away, making idiots out of the educated in Pakistan by a £5 calling card.

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

i strongly agree with you

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

He isn't back because he is not suicidal jihadi and knows he will be targeted in Pakistan by establishment forces.

And the Candian courts aren't infallible. I can provide evidence of why they are wrong on many immigration research issues if you start a thread on it. And the Canadian government has not declared MQM a terrorist organization, not has any other foreign government of repute.

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

Moral of the story: we will do long march for freeeeeeee judiciary if the right wingnuts want us to, but if one of our own right wingers sufi m declares judiciary as kuffar, we will say “ji haaa sarkar, ji haaaaaa”

Altaf shocked by silence over TNSM chief’s remarks

Staff Report

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and the party’s clerics committee have questioned the silence of political parties, lawyers and the civil society over Sufi Muhammad’s statement that branded constitutional institutions of Pakistan ‘un-Islamic’.

**“Why are the champions of the independence of the judiciary and those who resorted to the long march for that purpose still silent against Sufi Muhammad?” **Altaf asked, in a statement released by the MQM’s office on Tuesday.

Stressing his point, he recalled that Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Shariat-e-Muhammadi (TNSM) chief Sufi Muhammad had said that the legislature, the judiciary and the political and judicial systems of Pakistan were ‘un-Islamic’. Altaf said the TNSM chief had even refused to accept the 1973 Constitution, which guarantees rights for all citizens and religious sects.

He lamented that political and religious parties and their leaders had organised huge public gatherings, rallies, demonstrations, sit-ins and a long march to register their protest for “vested interests and political gains”, but they were now silent against the threatening and derogatory statement by Sufi.

“Unfortunately, the bar councils which staged the long march for the independence of the judiciary have not voiced their protest against the contempt of the constitution and the judiciary,” he said.

He also criticised the civil society and rights organisations, saying they had also remained silent over statements by the Taliban.

“Pakistanis must question the political and religious leaders they support over the eerie silence in the wake of the false, malicious propaganda of the Taliban and the TNSM leaders,” he said. “For Pakistan’s sake … get involved in the process of salvaging the country,” he said.

The MQM chief said that all the political and religious parties and their leaders who were silent today would be** “as responsible as the foreign powers if their silence over the actions of the Taliban – based on un-Islamic, immoral and incorrect interpretations – harm Pakistan”**.

He called on Pakistanis to step forward to save the country, and consider all that he had said an ‘SOS appeal’.

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

Is Altaf still on strike???

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

We have yet to see MQM cleansing itself of bad elements. Why would MQM cleanse itself of bad elements when it was bad elements that propelled its control over Karachi/Hyderabad?

Re: Altaf Hussain on hunger strike! yaayyy

^ as far as I am concerned, they have been on the right track for a while (started by changing name). They are more involved in national issues than before, and for the most part, are on the right side of it. I can't understand, why they still are the target & topic of discussion on this forum, more so than the talibans.
