Grieved Altaf not taking meals for four days: Babar
LAHORE: Babar Ghauri of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has said MQM chief Altaf Hussain is so grieved over the Nizam-e-Adl Regulation’s enforcement in Swat that he has not taken meals for the past four days, a private TV channel reported on Thursday. Ghauri said the MQM chief was living on juices only since the last four days. What a drama queen, seriously! I wonder if he was “fasting” after May 12th as well when his goons were causing a mayhem in the port city of Karachi. Or did he grieve when his party was a part and parcel of the “establishment” and did Musharraf’s bidding in working to bar citizens from entering the city.
If it wasn’t for this fellow, the party itself might actually expand beyond 2 cities. Urdu speaking public of Karachi/Hyderabad and the whole of Sindh deserve better than this guy. I hope the educated public, our brothers and sisters from Karachi/Sindh will demand a better leader who is more a proud Pakistani (does not consider Pakistan a mistake) and a true representative (no class/ethnic based politics), than the thug who currently clings onto the throne by hook or by crook.
He didn't eat or sleep four days but that was 2 days ago so it's almost a week now that this great leader hasn't eaten anything :D.
He is the kind of guy we need in every street of Pakistan to tackle food shortage :D

he should have went on hunger strike like Walidad - who starved to death... but Altaf's idea of hunger strike is, media coverage, lots of juices and hunt for sympathy...
After the Swat blunder, only his party left with a stand. Learn to respect, as we have very few mohajir or balochi or sindhi on the face of earth. Not everything is fun. This MQM bashing should stop now, people have problems even when they march against the killing of balochistan or when they march for buried alive girls.

Suicide bomb hits Pakistan police
A suicide bomber has attacked a police checkpoint in north-western Pakistan, killing at least 20 people, police say.
Most of the dead are police and soldiers and at least 12 other people have been injured, officials say.
The attack happened in Hangu district, close to Pakistan’s tribal areas, which have become known as a sanctuary for Islamist rebels.
Pakistani Taleban militants, allied to al-Qaeda, have carried out numerous such attacks over the past two years.
At least 18 members of the security forces were killed, as well as two civilians, senior police official Farid Khan told AP news agency.
The checkpoint in Doaba is near a major Taleban base located in the Orakzai tribal region, AP reported.

I don't care about any of them... one are using Islam to get into power and other are using linguistic issues to satisfy their lust for power.. both are in a way have same ideology.. Quaid ka ju ghadaar hay mout ka woh haqdaar hay.. is one of the most repeated slogan of MQM... does that differ from the Talibanic ideology, who thinks anyone disagreeing with them or their life style should be sent to hell...

Altaf hussain advices his Jamaat to buy weapons to fight establishment and/or people of other provinces, they fought and killed Punjabies, Pathans, Balochs, Sindhies and same Taliban are doing today, MQM said Pakistan was a Mistake, so does Taliban, Kidnapping for Ransom, Extortion was MQM's tactics, now Taliban is doing the same...
Their is no difference in the strategies of the two... MQM in 80s and 90s was hell-bent to not to let develop the economic activities in Pakistan, today Taliban is upto same...
Zia-ul-haq, the Amirul-mominin of Pakistan, committed many sins out of these, one was involving Pakistan into Afghnasitan war creating all kinds of jehadis, drugs and AK-47 culture and the other sin was creating MQM to counter PPP in Sindh. Both of his sins ultimately came to bite his a$$, even one sin resulted in to his violent death.
Musharaf though not an Islamic, continued to keep Zia's spirit alive by playing double cross in fighting war on terror. He mostly followed the morale of Yahya Khan who was most drunkard, blind follower of Uncle Sam, instrumental to break up of Pakistan.
