No doubt about that quota-system was very un-just...as i previously said...many problems were faced by Muhajirs....but this was started by ZAB ...i think...another sindhi...why they started thier hatred towards Punjab and other provinces..if some person is notorious...then does it means the whole province from which this person belongs becomes notorious...thats funny.....
and secondly when people of Karachi and sindh always welcommed them in election specially in 1988 elections...then best solution was to negate this quota system by assembly......but when they got seats...they started behaving as God.....killing innocenet people....bhatta...ethnic bases hatred...then started "punga" with army on Major Kaleem torture Case in 1991....tortured this innocent major with his two men in Landhi torture cell...naked him...filmed himm...give electric shocks...and brutally tortured him....and raised slogans that kill Punjabi army...the man was of sindh unit...hatred towards army...ISI..the pseudo stories of hatred and Establishment...blamming Army ....... who wake at night so the you all people sleep safe and sound in your hot cozy rooms !!!!!!!.......Kala Bagh issue...differences of punjabis and pakhtoons etc....
now when some party get seats...is this his attitude...instead of helping those muhajirs from which votes they entered assembly...they made "muhajirs" something like a symbol of hatred due to thier own mischiefs....they even ruined the muhajir genuine problems....just in a pride of that they are now all in all of Sindh...they crossed all limits ...remembering of the saying of the Lion of God(ra) that "jub kameeno ko iqtadar milta hai to wo sari hado ko phalang jatai hai"....the same thing happened to MQM.....what good did these chopped bodies..drilled bodoies and torture cells...and bori-band lashai for the "muhajir cause".....facist and hitler like tactics....killing Shaheed Salahuddin ...the editor of Takbeer as he was unleashing MQM brutality...burning time and again Jang Press...creating state within a state....bringing the city of light economy to zero....terror ....no investment...burning own factories...cars..buses and motor-cycles....killing the whole generation of karachi......

I wont differ all these facts. But there is another fact, whoever did killings had been punished! Caught or Killed with the only exception of Altaf and few others! They will soon find their fate as well.

wrong. The quota system was introduced in Yahya Khan’s era when he dismantle one unit system of Ayub Khan. Before you write any thing confirm it.

Because elements with the establishment like the ISI and their jihadi brethren are ready to kill him the moment he arrives. Lets not forget that it was the MQM that fought the jihadi terrorists in Karachi before it was fashionable.

MQM to induce more showbiz personalities to join party
LAHORE: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is looking to attract more film and TV stars as members, MQM sources told Daily Times on Tuesday.
Sources said that in a bid to make the party more popular in Punjab, the party would convince film and TV stars who were popular among Punjabis to join the party to ensure the presence of large numbers of people in its public meetings.
“The MQM leaders have taken this decision while keeping in view the fact that people in rural areas in the Punjab love to see showbiz personalities public meetings,” they added.
“A few months ago, comedian Umar Sharif joined the MQM. Now he is working as an adviser on social welfare to the Sindh chief minister,” sources added.
They said that Pushto film actress Musarrat Shaheen, singer Salma Agha, film and TV artists Saud, Javeria, Khush Bakhat Shujat, Meera and Habib and film directors Syed Noor and Sangita had already joined the MQM.
The MQM Punjab chapter information secretary, Ansar Bhuttar, said that TV and film stars were being inducted to the MQM because being a major ally of the government, the party was promoting President General Pervez Musharraf’s policy of enlightened moderation.
An MQM office-bearer, asking not to be named, said that showbiz personalities were joining the party in their own interest.
“Some showbiz celebrities are joining the party to exploit the MQM’s relations with Indian officials to join the Indian film industry,” the office-bearer added.
Talking to Daily Times, film director Syed Noor said that he was not planning to join the MQM but admitted that he was in touch with MQM leaders.
Actor Saud said that he and his wife Javeria had joined the MQM when they decided to join politics. “The MQM is the only party which is fighting for the rights of the downtrodden masses,” he added. He said that he and his wife would work for the welfare of the poor on the MQM platform. hasan ali

The poisoning has been done by Punjab, which is why today no province trusts Punjab to do the right thing.

Interesting… But question still arrises. MQM represent the intrests of of Mohairs, being a Mohajir party… How cant be expected to represent Pakistan? MQM dislike of Punjabis is well know among Punjabis, how does MQM hope to change their minds?

Deliberate bad editing by Geo to make it seems like the audience did not even notice the speech. Even if you don’t like his style of speech, Altaf is 100% right in what he said. But the message seems to be lost because some here are just obsessed with Altaf Hussain as opposed to the cause of following the 1940 resolution.
Well ... u have to read the history dear ... Muhajir's lost 22000 thousand youngsterz after making MQM....they r pushed to the wall jo Qaid ka ghaddar hay woh maut ka haqdaar hay ..isn't it ???....muhajir's ( better call him sindhi's coz they born here so they r not muhajir's anymore ).....they were known as Ahlay Qalam .... Altaf hussain give him order to sell their TV n VCR n buy Guns ..... is this the way to take right's in ur own country ...
