I have looked at the internet, and all I can find are clips. No one knows the context. What is a fact is that partition divided families and communities. I have British passport, so travel to India relatively easily. However, if you are Pakistani travelling to say visit a dying Aunt, that can be impossible. The visa regimes in both states is horrible. If Altaf said that it was a disaster for these divided families, then he was right. I suspect that was the context. How you can compare that with Mirza's comment on nungey and bhookey, which is clearly racist is beyond me.

What do you think, what was apparent context of Mirza's racist remarks. What was his immediate preceding words before saying 'Bhookay Nangay'. He was referring to cowards, who have come up with demand of separate province through wall chalking.
Only traveling difficulties and related human emotions can allow AH call partition a blunder. Don't you think dividing a province (without any agreed reason) had created concern and emotions in groups who are not in favour of Division.
BTW, AH was playing victim card before calling partition 'blunder'. He has also given his justification for the issue - (refer post 25 above)which can't be understood. May be it has a context too.

Read my post again. I said so called 'Ahliyan e Karachi' coward who came up with demand of separate province without any *agreed reason *(by all stakeholders). Seraiki ppl made their demand public for separate province through their elected ppl and not someone like coward 'Ahliyan e Karachi group' which is not owned by any political group having mandate in the City. Do you know, who they are. Are they from MQM?
