Allegations Against Ahmediyya

I promised Firenze that I will respond to his allegation as well. So here is my go:

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiyani (did he died in washroom???), the founder of Qadiyanism or Ahmadism, the so called Ahmadiya Movement in Islam, wrote about the prophesies of a prophet:

My Answer: He did not die in washroom. (However not too sure)

a. The Torah and the Qur’an admit that the most truthful evidence of prophethood are the prophesies, and

My Answer: Agreed.

b. It is not possible that God’s revelations be not confirmed by their fulfillment.

My Answer: Indeed however if there is no time limit set then one cannot say when prophecy will come true.

Let us examine the prophesies of the writer who claimed himself to be a prophet (nabi) and the Promised Messiah (al-Masih al-Maw’oud). If a single prophecy is not fulfilled, it would show that such a prophet is an imposter and a liar.

My Answer: Indeed, If Prophet is from God then all prophecy should come true. However keep in mind if even only one prophecy becomes truth then you have to accept that yes it is true prophecy.

Rains and earthquakes
Ghulam Ahmad wrote, “God revealed to me that frequent rains will come down. Due to their frequency villages will be destroyed. After them will follow severe earthquakes”. He did not specify where and when. If it was to be in India, there are some regions which receive a lot of rain and there are other areas which feel earthquakes. This is not a prophecy.

My Answer: Please provide links to books or exact wording of ILHAM for everyone to read. I am not denying there is no prophecy similar to this but I cannot reply to ghost statements. What you are talking about may be written in different context.

Abdullah Atham’s death
A Christian, Abdullah Atham entered into a debate with Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in 1893; neither succeeded in winning over the other. It was embarrassing to Ghulam Ahmad and, feeling insulted, on June 5, 1883 he announced that he had been informed by God that Abdullah Atham would die within fifteen months, that is, September 5, 1894. Ghulam Ahmad supplicated to God for the death of Abdullah Atham by his announced date of death and he asked his followers to join him in praying for the curse to come true. The deadline came and went but Abdullah Atham lived and for a long time. Ghulam’s invocations and supplications were of no use and Allah proved that he was not His prophet.

My Answer: First of all I will ask you take back your words that Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (A.S) did not succeed in debate with Abdullah Atham.

Now we are cleared that FACT is he debated Christian Missionaries and defeated them.

Lets get onto the Prophecy.

In June 1893 Deputy Abdullah Atham stood against Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (A.S). Hadhrat sb (A.S) defeated him in debates. Deputy Abdullah Atham called our Holy Prophet SAW nauzobillah “DAJJAL”. (Bible as Paadri Abdullah Atham 1893). Mirza sb (A.S) said Allah has informed him “agar wo haq ki taraf rujoo na karre to 15 maah ke ander haavia mien giraaya jaaye ga”.

Within days he was feeling ill. However it is known that he supplicated towards God for his forgivness and good health. Within 15 months of time there is no incident reported about Abdullah Atham that he continued his Tabligh of Christinity or kept on fighting against ISLAM. Hence the condition “haq ki taraf rujoo” was met and he did not die within that time period.

Infact people of the time (similar to your thinking) started saying that Prophecy has not come true. Mirza sb (A.S) then published many papers saying Abdullah Atham to say that he has not supplicated God but he never came out.

Mirza sb also wrote that if Atham does not say that to his fellow Missionaries/Christians that he beg Allah forgivness within one year then he will die. And that happened HE died within 7 months of this prophecy.

Multiple marriages
On February 20, 1886 Ghulam Ahmad declared that indeed Allah revealed to him that he shall marry blessed women and he shall have numerous children from these new wives. He was then 46 years old. The fact remains that he could not marry anyone after his declared revelation from Allah despite several efforts and a crush on Muhammadi Begum.

Could you kindly give the reference of this Prophecy of multiple marriages from the book page number as I could not find this.
