Allah Pendants

:salam:

I also was searching it in books which i do have but failed to find. Will try to find out if there is any references or not.

Same incident happen with me when i opened a thread where our modz especially psyah asked me to please provide the reference and I failed to do that. Since that I never posted/commented without references. infact my search taken a new path which lead me to read Qur’an and Hadeedth more attentionaly than before and to understand every versus.

I’m very thankful to psyah as well as other modz too. May Allah SWT put us all on right path Ameen

Re: Allah Pendants

:salam: everyone

My apologies, I don’t intend to derail the thread, but was wondering if anyone knows a good place to but Islamic Jewelry for both men and women? I am talking Allah pendents, Ayatul Kursis etc? Also if there is an online source where I can get engraving done in Arabic would be great as well!

On to the main topic: I would take off the pendent when going to the restroom, but my Shaykh has deemed it permissible if the pendent is not visible (tucked in the shirt).

I used to wear the ayat-ul-kursi pendant when I was small, the Imam Makkah asked my father if we took it off everytime I went to the bathroom, showered etc. He said it was equivalent to taking a written form of ayat-ul-kursi with us into the washroom. Even if it's tucked-in and not visible, it's still in the bathroom.

Re: Allah Pendants

Yep, you are right Gina..... anything that has the word of Allah written on it, be it an Allah chain, Aytat ul Kursi or a taweez, it cannot be worn in the bathroom....
