lets see if you can answer this objectively - if this was the answer of a student to an 8th grade exam on explaining global warming, would it even make passing grade?

because the exam is not based on Islam…
if the exam asked “in the light of the Quran and its teachings, explain global warming…” then it might contribute but I’m sure that your example is not suggesting this.
