All Views Khatam-e-Quran for the month of October 2008

My dear Gupshup fellows. In collaboration with GSUP/All Views moderators, many of the forum members have decided to make the Khatam-e-Quran a permanent feature of All Views, which was specially done during the blessed month of Ramadaan.

The whole idea is to finish one or more Quran together, and encourage one another to read it every month. This way, we will not be restricting Quran to only one month but it will insha Allah make us read it more and more during the whole year and during our whole life.

We encourage all of you to be part of this noble deed, and reply with I want to JOIN for Khatam Quran, if you like to participate.

JazakAllah khayr!

If you can’t finish it and have some problem finishing para, let moderators know privately (PM AQ, Kevyan, Mirch or SAJAL) or post here. And please take your time reading the Quran, don’t start flying over it. If someone wants to join in, please post and let us know.

Moderators will keep updating this post as we get people joining us as we go along… Insha Allah!

We will finish whatever we can during the month and will carry over the remaining paraas of the Quran to next month.

Guys!

Innocent Smile had requested first 5 paraas… so you guys have to keep in mind what has been requested earlier.

It is also better if we do not mix these paraas with what we are already reading on daily basis… that way we will finish a separate Quran together while keeping our individual one as well…
