Yes Crescent, listen to the old idiot he knows what he’s saying. When you get older you will learn, that the world is not run by fanatics of Islam, but by fanatics of Judaism and Christianity, and the Islamic world is run by their puppets. To these puppets, you owe your loyalty, to these Judeo-Christo fanatics you owe your life, and if you don’t follow this, you will be branded a fanatic, you know those people who actually have the majority support in Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, etc. But don’t expect those people in power, democracy will never be allowed in those countries.
This is a completely different scenario SD. Hindus are not living in ghettos and refugee camps, by the thousands, in neighbouring countries since they have been shoved out of their homes and are now not allowed to return to their rightful homes.
Re: Lebanese Army to fight at Hezbollah's side against Zionist Invasion
And as far as posting in a forum and expressing your opinions is concerned, I don't believe in having my mouth shut off just because I live in the US...
I do my part to work and pay taxes and I have a right to call a spade a spade...Living here does not automatically make me dumb and mute that I should not express my vies about what is wrong...
You call yourself yet hold views which are contrary to the teachings of Islam...Why don't you give up calling yourself a Muslim because in your twisted logic you don't agree to Divine decree?
You get pissed off because I say things living in the US that I find wrong...Take a wild guess how infuriayted the Creator will be with the views you have regarding His faith...
Land belongs to God, thus should be ruled by God's Law.
Listen son, you're just another teenager. full of rage and emotions right now. when you grow up and learn that world is not run by fanatics then you'll understand. having met you I'm gonna give this to you.
I don't need to grow any older to realize whats right and wrong. I'm surprised you still haven't at the age you're at.
Why can't the Palestianians have a home of their own? Actual land, not little plots here and there that are controlled in between by checkpoints where they can't even travel freely.
It isn't as simple as that though. People on both sides are fanatical about it, including hardcore Jews and Christians. It is not just Muslims who are crazy about this issue.
If you ask a Palestinian who’s watching illegal settlements grow like mushrooms, daily walks past billboards that read (in Hebrew) that every occupier of a flat on such settlements will get a 100,000 shekel subsidy by the govt, or deprived of livelihood as the olive orchards/orange groves are torched by orthodox jewish settlers, you’d be pretty unhappy too.
b.) How this debate is framed in american media is Israel’s right to exist versus Palestinian atrocities and barbaric behavior. What this debate conveniently forgets is how Palestinians lands have been carved and continue to be carved up (re: illegal settlements and the land grab) like a Thanksgiving turkey.
Here is something you should read for a ‘different’ perspective:
International Solidarity Movement (an org. started by a Palestinian woman and a jewish man) details lot of the issues Palestinians in the West Bank face. I recommend that you people take a look to understand how bad things are for every day Palestinians and how their lands are stolen by the settlers in West Bank.
This is what a alot of people overlook. Then when hezbollah or other fighters start to fight for their rights from the oppressors, its the oppressors who are given full support.
“Gaza, itself, the latest phase, began on June 24. It was when Israel abducted two Gaza civilians, a doctor and his brother. We don’t know their names. You don’t know the names of victims. They were taken to Israel, presumably, and nobody knows their fate. The next day, something happened, which we do know about, a lot. Militants in Gaza, probably Islamic Jihad, abducted an Israeli soldier across the border. That’s Corporal Gilad Shalit. And that’s well known; first abduction is not. Then followed the escalation of Israeli attacks on Gaza, which I don’t have to repeat. It’s reported on adequately.”
