All things Hezbollah vs Israel
Isreal is clearly preparing to invade Lebanon - it is calling up vast numbers or reservists. Lebanon’s Defence Minister has states that since the Lebanese Army is there to defend Lebanon, the army will have to fight at Hezbollah’s side in the attempt to repulse the invasion.
Given that neither the Lebanese Army nor Hezbollah probably has the defensive strength to prevent an Israeli breakthrough, Lebanon’s Prime Minister is in quite a bind.
The USA, which once claied to support him, refuses to listen to his pleas for an immediate ceasefire. Given this fact, and given that an Israeli attack is imminent aginst which he cannot defend his country, Prime Minister Fouad Siniora has but one option left to hold back or limit an Israeli Invasion.
The Lebanese Prime Minister must swallow his pride and appeal to Bashir Al-Assad to send Syrian troops to establish a defensive line from the Mediterranean Sea through to the Syrian border.
Only this has any chance of holding back the Israeli invasion - Israel will be reluctant to expand the conflict by fighting with Syria (and thus Iran), who can subject all of Israel’s population centres to bombardment.

Israel calls up reservists for push into Lebanon

Israel called up five battalions of army reservists today and dropped leaflets across southern Lebanon warning civilians to leave towns and villages and head north towards Beirut as it prepared for a major ground offensive against Hezbollah positions.
Israeli troops have been making “pinpoint” incursions over the border and four soldiers were killed yesterday in a firefight with Hezbollah guerrillas in the border zone near Avivim, but Israeli commanders have been wary of committing forces to a full-scale ground offensive, preferring instead to concentrate on air strikes and artillery bombardment.
A senior Israeli Defence Force commander, Brigadier-General Alon Friedman, gave the broadest hint yet that an offensive was on the cards.
He told the Maariv newspaper: “It’s possible that in the coming days our ground operations will increase. We have many forces, we will carry out a massive recruitment of reserves and it’s possible that many more forces … will reach the border in the next few days.”
An Israeli military source said that five battalions - each unit can comprise up to 1,000 troops, had been called up.
Fouad Siniora, the Lebanese Prime Minister, said that his country had been torn to shreds. He added: “Can the international community stand by while such callous retribution by the state of Israel is inflicted on us?”
Mr Siniora’s Government, the first since the departure of Syrian forces from Lebanon last year, has been reduced to the role of bystander during the current conflict but the Defence Minister, Elias al-Murr, told al-Arabiya television that the army would have to stand by Hezbollah during any land invasion. “Our constitutional duty is to defend Lebanon as a Lebanese army. This is our role,” he said.

Keeping history in mind, I don't think anything will stop the israeli invasion. Not even Syria, not even Iran not even the combined army of all the arab countries. My sympathies are with the Lebanese. May Allah (swt) give them patience and strength.

then it will be back to normal. we will have proper Muslim regimes who will be responsible for there actions and will not be in control of the terrorists.
the way i look at Muslims of today is simple as a **"cheap crack whore" **They know they are hooked on this drug of fundamentalists and they are getting fcuked everyday, yet because of there addiction they are not willing to let it go, if they control there addiction, become clean and addiction free they can rule the world. Muslims are smart, hard working and overall peaceful people. i m sure this time of hardship will pass and we'll have a great and peaceful and strong Muslim Govt. all around the world.

Unfortunately the arab countries are too scared to even fart in Israel's direction. Syria is the only possibility that may put up a fight but stands no chance alone. In fact they can't even stop Israeli Air Force overflights into their airspace or the bombing of an alledged 'terror camp' near Damascus a while back.
The forthcoming urban warfare is going to be nasty and reduce Lebanon to complete rubble. The IDF won't look at civilian casualties but destroy any building from where they recieve hostile fire.
My thoughts and prayers are with the Lebenese.

The only way to fight the Israelis is through unconvential warfare. This will make them think twice before launching an invasion. Due to numerical and material superiority it is not possible to fight them head on. I hope that Israel does launch a ground invasion....after the initial success they will get bogged down like they did in the 80's and like the US is currently.

So is this the way to get a strong muslim govt. The last I heard it was democracy, which was suppose to bring strong muslim governments. But, this is not what you want. Look around the world and check, in every muslim majority country where they had elections in the last ten years, it was the muslims who got elected,.... and what was the result , they were kicked out. Look at, Kuwait, Behrain, Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, Moritania, they choose the peaceful way, and were denied rule. Why because the only "cheap crack whore" in the muslim world, the mod mulsim leaders are busy bowing down to the west on every single command. So dear Islam in its very nature wants you be a fundamentalist other wise you can always choose to be cheap crack whore.

The objective of the terror states of US and Israel was to crush the overwhelming popularity of Hezbollah. That failed. Even I never thought the impotent Sinioria would send the Lebanese army to fight alongside Hezbollah. It is great to see the country united against such a brutal aggressor. True, the popularity of the Hezbollah was waning slightly in the wake of the so-called Cedar Revolution, which was nothing more than a stupid, gay fad. The cowardly Cedar "Revolutionaries" are now dead in the eyes of the Lebanese as we look at the states that actually care about us, Syria and Iran. Now the Lebanese realize their foolishness in trusting the fascist Bush and his pet dog Rice.

"The world" will stop israel after half of Lebanon is finished, or other neighboring countries (if any) join and Israel begins to suffer some damage.
