All these whitening creams......

Re: All these whitening creams......

It is true jealousy is there, I know that when I stand with my fairer skinned friend and all the asian boys fall in lover with her I feel jealous.

I should be more secure about myself.

Re: All these whitening creams......

Unwanted suggestions are not appreciated!
Rest, I am not SOLELY BLAMING on men, I just highlighted the ANOTHER and IMPORTANT factor!! nothing to take personal here, It's an open forum and I have the full right to express whatever I want to say (knowing my limitations)
Stay Cool! Don't issue it around if you are not that^ type!!

Re: All these whitening creams......

If a guy bases everything he likes in a girl over her tone of skin then maybe you're best off without them. Yes, it's always a good feeling if a girl or in your case guy fancies you but it's nothing more then that. Well for me anyway.

Re: All these whitening creams......

@ CEO1: moreover, it was YOU who were blaming women and actually suggesting them to change their mentality!!

the above are the factors we are discussing why women think that way!!
There can be other reasons too why they react like that!

Re: All these whitening creams......

My issue with your post or lack of anything useful within that post is wasting my and other readers time. If you having something decent to say then do so without just going off what others are saying whilst abusing the emotion icons.

Unwanted suggestions? Don't make me laugh.

Nowhere did I state you shouldn't par take in this discussion.

Re: All these whitening creams......

^ True say.

Over time I have become alot more confident. And these superficial men are not the kind who interest me anyway, its a mere momentary thing.

Re: All these whitening creams......

Learn to comprehend what I wrote. I didn't blame just women. I did state quite clearly it's a shame men do such things. No need to get your knickers in a twist.
AND yes they should change their mentalities until they do they are just hiding/running away from something that is so devoid of importance. I.E. tone of their skin.

Re: All these whitening creams......

what are YOU doing in the Whitening cream thread, are you complexion conscious?? YOU are wasting our time posting I dont know what.. just read, what the thread started about and I just gave her the relevant information! You taking comments personal, which is not MY problem!!

Making you laugh!! Good, that I gave someone a chance to laugh!!

Re: All these whitening creams......

for you!! not necessarily for others!!
its good that you dont give such things importance, not necessarily be every man like you is on earth!!

Re: All these whitening creams......

Lol, Grow up. Like you I can also post here. It has affected many people I know therefore my input is positive.

Re: All these whitening creams......

vice versa! hope you understand now!!

Re: All these whitening creams......

I think you can totally tell when someone has been using a whitening cream. The skin is an unnatural colour.

Re: All these whitening creams......

Yes.. In pics esp they often come out unnaturally pale (eg in comparison to a european standing next to them)..

Re: All these whitening creams......

Skin color...like some other physical traits...is influenced by several factors. I don't see many of my cousins in Pak going outside during the day considering the scorching sun and humidity. Surely staying indoors might account for some of the change in skin color along with the chemicals that inhibit melanin production and exfoliate/bleach the skin. Diet also plays a role. What i've noticed about my relos in Pak is that unlike us in the US....they usually don't have processed food/junk food lying around the house to eat whenever they want. Hormones, too, can impact skin color.

So, I don't think it's as simple as saying that the creams did it all. Going out in the sun without sunblock will make such products have an adverse effect on your skin...but if they avoid doing that...then they don't have to worry. I understand that everyone has a right to their personal preferences when it comes to looks...........but I don't think that fair skin is enough to render someone beautiful. Much of it has to do with your features and how you carry yourself, etc. I was watching America's Next Top Model a few days ago and there was this contestant whose face was the color of dark chocolate...maybe even darker.....but her features were so striking that she was the prettiest out the whole group and the rest of them were fair skinned. Darker skin has one of the best (or perhaps THE BEST) advantage of fair skin.....in that it ages slower than lighter skin, provided you take care of it.

But if you're so curious about the creams...then nobody's stopping you. Try them out....be careful when out in the sun....and some 10 years later you might be just as doodh chitti as your cousins.

Re: All these whitening creams......

at the end of the day, no one cares or says much if u wana get a tan or wana lose weight, or dye ur hair, and other things, but theres such a hoo haa over lightening skin, to be honest, most if not all people want to be lighter, yet half have a issue admitting it because they are either not light skinned and never will be, or are already light skinned and are trying to be non-chalant.....but of course everyone will bash me now for saying its untrue......

if someone asks how to be lighter/darker/fatter/thinner etc v=can people just answer the posts, rather than start a lecture on how they dont need to do anything they are fineas they are, its especially insulting when its people on a forum uve never met never seeen you....

yes, do list any dangerous consquences, any side effects, but to harp on and on about being fair isnt all that, is actually insulting to people who are fair,..or so it seems.......

Re: All these whitening creams......

the people ive seen look good.
if i did ever see dodgy looking colours, its when darker skinnedpeople wear lighter skinned foundation, and the pics come out looking awfulllllllllll

Re: All these whitening creams......

well since you want to be lighter, of course you think they look good.

Re: All these whitening creams......

no, its not. being fair is NOT a bad thing if you're born that way. wanting to be fair so badly that you'll do anything to get there IS

being "in your face" about this issue does not make it okay nadz...its bad to have problems with how God made you.

losing weight is a health concern...being fair is NOT a health concern. dying your hair is a fashion statement...not a societal or self esteem issue. people don't reject you because your hair is not brown or red.

they **DO **if you're dark.

if **you **want to be lighter, great. but don't pretend its totally okay for others to want to be fair skinned. its not. its sad our girls are raised with this idiotic mentality that being fair will make you beautiful.

YOU make yourself beautiful...not some cheap jar of bleach.

Re: All these whitening creams......

jesussss,

no i mean they look good, flawless skin, no spots, no marks, clean clear skin, glowing. and if these creams are damaging their skin, ive yet to see it. and of course if they were only using it for a month or so, fair enough, but theyve been yusing it for over 10 years plus.....so i dnt know where the damage is, ive seen people who WORK in salons, and RECOMMEND their own facials at 60quid a time, and yet have NOTVERY GOOD skin themselves.....so in comparison, all the noise about whitening creams, ive only seen people skins get better, not just fairer...

Re: All these whitening creams......

and i agree. BUT saying it once is fine, saying it in every thread ever opened on such topics and saying it again and again doesnt really help, i think most people are intelligent enough to know what they are wanting is probably wrong and yes a complex, yet people still want it and thats why theres a market out there.......its like telling someone that smoking kills, they already know that, it wont stop them. so its best to save time and nergy here by just answerring the questions asked, unless theres a danger in them. thats all am saying.
