I got your point. But there should not be any question of being brave or not being brave/better then as you mentioned.
Credit still needs to be given to men who choose not to practice polygamy since aside from all the fear of backlash they do not want to commit injustice to women.
And my conclusion was that there should not be any whining against men who do practice polygamy if allowed by law. Afterall the man is exercising his God’s given right.
