my hieght is 5'1 and my weight is 70kg :((
my wedding is on feb i have only 3 months.. i knw its v short period of time. i jst want to tone up my body if its nt possible to loss much weight...
i sleep at 4 in nite n wake up 11 or 12 then i take 1 cup of tea... i jst take little meals 2 times a day. bt i use to take T many times...
i cnt go gym
i have nt any exercise equipment
PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ help me out... how cn i look in shape
im too much fatty :((

Only up side of being over weight is that you don't need use weights-- at least at start.
Now if you do any sort of work,out your body weight is going to provide resistance we are looking for In order to make limbs stronger and in order to built endurance.
1-you can start form long walk--that is done every day.
2-Time your self few time how long you can walk for.
3-scroll up to see the crunches video.
And start doing that now!!
let me know who it goes.
Remember you will be using your weight in your advantage.

Hey!! I want to really tone my body down by the next month. Getting married. Have access to NO weight equipment whatsoever. All I have is a long staircase at home. And food cans. Yes...
Need to lose love handles and flatten the butt. Also want to tone thighs (majorly) and arms!. Help... asap, please!!!

staircase can fix your lower body issues in days.
As I have mentioned above
1-do some walk/jog before.
2-stairs---start with as many times as you feel comfortable.
3-crunches---I have posted video as guide.
Make sure you keep time while walking/jogging as in how log did u do it for.
And count how many time did you go up down stairs.

hey Monk well i have been on starvation and did lose a lot but since a few months i have gained again specially my lower body and face i really hate it. i need to know a diet i can follow and also work out at home and da gym im really confused as all dis is stressing me out.

take the advice from the one who is currently doing it :d
Swimming is the best thing :) Do few laps everyday with you tummy tucked in....
after that do few water areboics :D ( i usually do 60 situps while laying in water, make sure your tummy stays in water. Do 60 twists each side, then pretend you have hula hoops around aroundyou and start shaking that tummy from each side :D
FYI--- your entire upper body will be soar and you will be in pain for few days-- OUCH
ok me too me too i wanna loose weight as well... especially from the hips... :$
the options i have are the gym but i only like using the treadmill... i can use stepper not more than 5 minutes...
recently i have started a routine tell me if this is fine...
10mins walk
5mins stepper
5mins rowing
10mins cross trainer
5mins cycling
15mins treadmill (speed 6, incline 4)
is this ok i only need to loose weight waist below... :'(
recommed me some gud aerobics i can download n do at home once a week...
nyone a gud list of gym music to work out on... guuds ones not the bong bong bang bang...
just to add in i dont have a lot of max i can spare is around 30mins in a day any advices wud be gud... or if we have a one to one wud save me the embarrsament... :$

I am disappointed though.
No one has really gotten back with their progress. There were some ppl I really wanted to work with.

Even with no equipment getting lower body in great shape is piece of cake.
Even when you have worst eating habits. But sisters got to move and climb a little.

4-tell me more about your cross training.
I know you will get desired results real quick. You are some what on right track.

Tone arms, thighs and hips.
I think tummy is one of my most trouble spot.
I wont mind losing 5 pounds as well.
I have a treadmill at home and I have membership of a Gym.
I can devote 1-2 hours daily.
So what should i be doing??

Start going to the gym.
there you will have enough stomach work out exercises.
Make sure you do some cardio work out too.
Ideally if you do 2 cardios that will help a lot.
Say rowing and tread mill.. or tread mill and stair master. etc.
Try to get burning sensation in you tummy in every single set set you do(tummy workout)

Monk i just wanted to ask u tht does weather affect weight loss?? i mean i dun sweat as much as i do in summers...so does tht mean i wont loose tht much weight? and one more thing ive got 18 stairs and ive started climbing since yesterday....i did it 10 times....so how many times shud i climb stairs? can i do it twice a day?? seriously ur helping us alottt...u dun need to get dissapointed monk...its sucha great thread!

plusha you were the one I was waiting for the most.
Thing is stair is such a tough work out that
1-you don't need to do it twice.
2-even if you miss days-- no need to feel guilty.
That is an excellent start 10 times. very gradually, while being kind to you body increase it.
In start it can make you real sore.
Things you got to watch. IF it takes you longer to fall asleep. Some time climbing stairs could get your nerves tense.
What I want to see is in few weeks you time your self. say 10-15 mins 3-4 times a week.
Once you do that we can reduce it to 3 times and and some light walk on alternate days.
Get ready you lower body is going to make many chicks jealous and its gonna get hubby excited. If you know what I mean.
When you finish stairs do crunhes. Or should I say situps. Leg rise not so much. Because stairs work lower abdominal.

ohh monk ur making me get excited...hehe seriously ur words are damn motivating...yeah i do crunches...3 sets of 20...and inshallah i'll be doing sit ups too today...and yeah other than my lower body...only my arms need to tone up...my weight kept on fluctuating through out my life so my arm muscles are really loose...i just need to tighten them up a bit...do help me with it...n yeah i dun have dumbells...i'll buy them if u say so...
yeahhh after doing stairs...my legs become really shaky...n do temme abt tht weather thing too...its cold in karachi and i dun sweat too much...does tht mean no weight loss??
