you sweating help losing weight but what we call in athletics "breaking weight" What that means is dropping weight quickly before a fight. Athletes put so much stuff on and work out for hrs.They sweat like pigs. then go for weighing in. That way can weight lighter and make it to the weight category they want.
BUT
they dehydrate them self which can cause immediate damage. Plus weight comes back when they drink water.
Now things is warm weather make you lethargic, which is not the best thing for work out.
Next thing you need to ask your self, have you seen an in-shape athlete who did not look attractive physically??
So for now concentrate on work out get in great shape. At same time eat healthy. DO NOT STARVE YOUR SELF. Working out legs is one of the hardest work out routine. You need protein to build quality muscles.
And remember Take it easy on your self. If in a few weeks you could give me 10-15 mins non stop stairs.
I am happy as a clown. Don't matter how many say you skip.
And remember pain your body's alarm, listen to it. be consistent but gentle.
1-how long have you been doing it?
2-you exact same routine every day?
3-what is rest time in-between
4-tell me more about your cross training.
I know you will get desired results real quick. You are some what on right track.
I can tune it a little for better out put. :)

ok i just started a week agao... :D
nops if i am running one day on the treadmil next day i am inline walking... once a week i will just walk for 30mins, n once a week i will do aerobics n walk in the evening...
i dont have any ret time in between
cross training 10mins staright thts it...

adding a few drops of lemon to it will help…as it contains natural acid which increases your metabolism… …infact you should drink a glass of warm water with lemon the first thing in the morning…
Drinking warm H2O is better… YOu all know that in china people drink Hot/Warm water with meal. Some people in medical world point that out as a reason on why most chinese are slim… just google “advantages of drinking warm water” and see for your self.

Need some assistance i have at my disposal a treadmill and stairs and i would like to loose 25 pounds, currently i am 5 2 and weight almost 140 lbs. due to some events that happened recently i overate and now i am paying for it. my skin used to be soooo clear and now its sooo dull.. please help.
^ neha i m no expert... but my suggestion is u need to either run/ jog / or go on treadmill or elliptical trainer....thats how i got rid of my pregnancy weight.... bikes sounds wayyy to boring...

Monk: I go to the gym 3-4 times a week. Do treadmill 30 mins and a little bit of weights. Need to lose weight in hips and thighs area. Please help! Also would like to tone shoulders.

please monk i need help also. my current weight is 74kgs and i need to lose atleast 10 kgs. i have access to a treadmill, bike and jillian micheals dvds. and about my fitness level i can walk on the treadmill for one hour at 5km and also i am able to do no more troublezones byjillian micheals almost every day using 2 kg dumbells. i have lost 3 kgs and about 4 inches from the hips and tummy and 3 from the waist but i am stuck now. and also i am fasting these days so am only able to exercise at night. i still have 27 more to keep. and i can spare only one hour for exerccise as i have a 9 month and 2 year old kid.

So you have bn working out every day?
1- you have many things on the go right now, better me careful, I let **REhA **or **shyne **talk to you about nutrition.
2- did your arm + upper body tunned quickly? since you were using dumbles.
3-how about some stairs ? they work magic on lower body.
4- crunches sit ups?
also go easy during fasting. Don't feel bad if energy level goes down and you have take days off.

somebody muist have already posted this, but you cannot "spot reduce". Meaning you cannot just reduce fat from your stomach, hips etc. Your body will choose from where the fat goes away. Unforunataely you dont have control over this.
So the best option is to first clean up your diet. Losing weight is very simple. Your calorie intake must be lower than your calorie you expend. So once you have cleaned up your diet, then hit up the gym and do cardio for atleast an hour or so.
Doing ab crunches or working with dumbell on your arms wont help that much.
