Whats wrong being fat? Fat people needs loving too
errr ... I mean, being HEALTHY is a lot of time considered FAT. It actually decreases your resistance to viruses and to heat/cold as well (to a certain degree).

This was about 6 or 7 years ago but I lost weight by eating more fruits/veggies and natural food, excercising and grilled meat/fish/chicken. Im going shopping next week to pick up some meat and chicken and have my mom make it using a small amount of olive oil, low salt, no spices, etc. Im trying to tone up and just be more fit.
Maintaining::
I just adjusted my diet after a while to maintain the weight loss.
Now, I balance out my food intake.
1- If Ive had an unhealthy lunch/dinner one day, I know I cant do it again the next day. I have to make up for it.
2-Another thing that helps in maintaining weight loss is the quality of your food and water intake.
3-Processed food is usually loaded with calories, additives and preservatives.
4-Home made food will give you better results, keep you healthier and feeling better.

When I recently went back to the gym...I did notice something funny. The exercises that worked for me before arent working anymore. When I was about 19 or so, I could do 100 crunches a day and have the flattest abs but no more. It has to do with age and your body I think.
The way Im built, Ive got to keep switching it around a lot so my body keeps working. Running on a treadmill doesnt do it for me all the time. There are days when Ive done three different cardio exercises for 15 minutes each in one workout.
Also, with time our metabolism slows down people! Its SOOO sad but true. That chocolate shake will take you longer to burn off now than it did a couple of years ago. :( Thats one reason you see a lot of "skinny" people getting "heavier" in their later years...if they have bad eating habits it catches up with them.
We can diet and lose weight for now but in the long run it has to be a lifestyle change.
^^too much red meat is not good but white meat esp fish is good.my natrupath told me to eat as much fish as i can along with veggies n fruit n high fibres.n boy i lost 6lbs in just one week with her diet n cleanse prog plus cardio 3 times a week.
then i got really relaxed ......:))
S-S I think i have seen your picz in some wedding thread and you’re not fat!! But if you really follow what you’ve written and still think you’re fat then it might be something medical. I am actually dealing with something very similar, I went in for the blood test thinking it might be my imbalance thyroid but it actually turned out my thyroid was okay, but i am majorly deficent of iron, Vitamin D and B12, which obviously effects overall health so now i am really trying to balance things up and working to fight off that baby fat. :halo:

too much fish is bad for you because of high mercury content. i think fish intake is supposed to be limited to a certain quantity.
What Im talking about is healthy weight. The goal is not to be skinny, its to be the healthiest YOU can be because everyone is different. A healthy weight for me might not be right for someone else.

not all fish hav mercury.tunas,pink salmons etc r safe even during preg u can hav them.also fish oil capsules with omega 3 r safe n highly recommended for good overall health as far as i know.
