errr ... I mean, being HEALTHY is a lot of time considered FAT. It actually decreases your resistance to viruses and to heat/cold as well (to a certain degree).

look at the picture of any famine in africa show me one person there who was born to be fat.

I am not saying we need to be starving, but we can make healthy changes.

Just a thought:

When I recently went back to the gym...I did notice something funny. The exercises that worked for me before arent working anymore. When I was about 19 or so, I could do 100 crunches a day and have the flattest abs but no more. It has to do with age and your body I think.

The way Im built, Ive got to keep switching it around a lot so my body keeps working. Running on a treadmill doesnt do it for me all the time. There are days when Ive done three different cardio exercises for 15 minutes each in one workout.

Also, with time our metabolism slows down people! Its SOOO sad but true. That chocolate shake will take you longer to burn off now than it did a couple of years ago. :( Thats one reason you see a lot of "skinny" people getting "heavier" in their later years...if they have bad eating habits it catches up with them.

We can diet and lose weight for now but in the long run it has to be a lifestyle change.

I've lost 2.3 kgs and it was done with soup, steamed veggie's with lemon salt and herbs! :)

^^too much red meat is not good but white meat esp fish is good.my natrupath told me to eat as much fish as i can along with veggies n fruit n high fibres.n boy i lost 6lbs in just one week with her diet n cleanse prog plus cardio 3 times a week.
then i got really relaxed ......:))

hi yes, it could be your hormones. do you get your periods regularly? also have you counted calories?

S-S I think i have seen your picz in some wedding thread and you’re not fat!! But if you really follow what you’ve written and still think you’re fat then it might be something medical. I am actually dealing with something very similar, I went in for the blood test thinking it might be my imbalance thyroid but it actually turned out my thyroid was okay, but i am majorly deficent of iron, Vitamin D and B12, which obviously effects overall health so now i am really trying to balance things up and working to fight off that baby fat. :halo:

too much fish is bad for you because of high mercury content. i think fish intake is supposed to be limited to a certain quantity.

Take it from another girl, some of us really love our figures and* know* that we're anything but fat.

What Im talking about is healthy weight. The goal is not to be skinny, its to be the healthiest YOU can be because everyone is different. A healthy weight for me might not be right for someone else.

I am with Gina on this one.
Being obsessed with wanting to keep my weight at a low number is the motivation for me to work out on a regular basis.

I am at my ideal weight.. but I refuse to listen to those "ideal weight calculators" and want to lose 8kgs!

SU, I've always maintained my figure.. mostly cuz of shows and shoots.. but even when I was super-slim my stupid mirror said I was chubby :S

not all fish hav mercury.tunas,pink salmons etc r safe even during preg u can hav them.also fish oil capsules with omega 3 r safe n highly recommended for good overall health as far as i know.

chk this out.theres a diff b/w weight loss n fat loss.some ppl may b at their ideal weight but still hav fat at certain areas
