So as you all know from my blog that my daughter was having seizures and she was admitted in hospital for nearly a week ( didn’t write another blog as for some reason the comments section don’t work even tho I turn them on, I’m using the app so :/)
Anyway we were discharged as she didn’t have any further seizures but was given medication in case it did. Alhumdulillah it has been a month and she has had no further seizures. We saw the paediatrician last week who advised everything is fine and the longer she goes without having them the less chance shell get them.
I got the reports through today which says everything is fine, one thing I noticed was that it says “MRI brain - which reported essentially normal but with slight prominence of lateral ventricles and extra axial CSF spaces”.
Any neurologists out there who can explain this, we are due to see the paediatrician again in a few months so I’ll ask then but just want to know what that means
Aww hugz and kisses to the lil one:hug: Im still waiting to see her pictures:( btw if you are using safari..open your blog..edit..check allow comments..and we’re done:)
They couldn’t give me a reason as to what it was, she didn’t have any fever at all. And had 3 seizures in the same day until they intervened with medication.
Loads of duas for the tiny one!! My hubs works with neurosurgeons... I can see if he can ask them on monday if you dont already get an answer from the gs smarties!!!
Hi zimzimma, did your daughter have a febrile convulsion? My daughter is 2 and has had two seizures in 2 months. It is THE most scariest thing in the world...I thought she was dying! We have had an EEG and CT scan all was fine Alhumdulillah. Have they given you any medication or told you why?
