Regarding wordlcup, yes those were bitter days and both sides got carried away in criticiscm and defense 
we are entitled to point out oour weaknesses which right now aplenty. Our captain will make captaincy mistakes as he has took over a young team. Everyplayer is gonna mistake and should be criticized but not unnecesserily.
We all agree that position of Taufiq is in jepardy and Pakistan seriuosly needs to re-consider his present approach to the batting. Imran Nazir harmed his chances of a recall when he left the trail games and left for league cricket.
Taufeeq Umar should be given a last chance. He’s been batting pathatically in this tournament. But I think he deserves one last chance.

Yes, Pakistan won, but I admit I'm not at all happy with their batting. This maybe a low scoring pitch, but lets see if they can do any better elsewhere (ie. our tourns).
Misbah ul Haq is a good batsman....i dunno y he wasnt included!!

There have only been two half-centuries scored in this tournament.....

the highest scores of the tournament have been 203 by pakistan n 199 by pak!
the pitch for this match was a bit better but the pitch for the first one was pathetic n pak got to 199!
this is gonna turn out to be a good team.....wen they won in sharjah many said it was against poor teams....now that theyve qualified for the final of this tournament in poor conditions.....favouring NZ....i think theyve done a good job!!!
however theres a lot of room for improvement(taufeeq, youhanna).....yasir hameed has been the bright aspect....n shoaib malik has also been great!!

But to win this tournament, still some Paki has to make a century as well as taking five wickets! I think Shoaib Akhtar can do both.

Great win! At one stage, Pakistan were struggling to make 140-150 runs but then Shoaib Malik played on! And what a wonderful day he had. 74 runs with a wonderful catch at the boundary, grabbing all the awards of the day. Good parternership for 7th wicket by Malik and Razzaq of over 50 runs, first in the tournament, which stablized Pakistan's position when score was 108-6. It was a match-winning!
Nice to see Yasir Hammed's confidence inning of 25 runs. He'll be playing in the Final, replacing Faisal Iqbal for sure. I think Pakistan have to make alot of reshuffling with the opening pair duo. Umer and Hafeez aren't playing well. I wish Faisal Athar would have given a chance. :(
Fielding was good today. Extra runs were conceded to 17 runs. Sami-Akhtar duo grabbed 3 wickets apiece. Fast bowler did their job and Kaneria, Man, what can I say? Since he made debut in Cricket, I've been his fan. He reminds me the way Abdul Qadir used to bowl. Good bowling by him. When Kaneria got rid of Chris Caines, the match started to swing in Pakistan's way! And what a delivery it was. Caines was completely beaten as ball passed between the gap of bat and pad. :)
Big day is on Friday. Go Pakistan! :)
Wasim was the one who used to say 'Shoiab Malik is an excellent batsman, you havent seen him bat at his true potential, hes goes 3 down in domestic cricket'!!!
Well Congrats to Pakistan on winning this match. Shoaib Malik played brilliantly, and he was the difference. As for the bowlers they did their job well. I think the move to bring in Yasir Hameed in place of Faisal Iqbal paid off since Yasir looked much much more confident out there than Faisal Iqbal even though it was his first match. I think he has a good future ahead of him.
I think Rashid agian dissapointed with the batting. He got out playing a very similar shot to the last game and I think he needs to bat more responsibily since there was no batting left after him, because spinners were operating from both ends at the time and Razzaq is no great player of spin bowling. So I expect him to bat better in the final.
As for the opening, I think Faisal Athar should get a chance to open instead of Taufeeq. Hafeez turning into more of an Afridi, taking a wicket here and there, excellent fielder, but not doing much with the bat.

Good to see Sami bowling the right line and length The extras weren’t much of a problem today. Shoaib A. did really well with both the bat and bowl but the ball tampering :(. Hopefully, he’ll be able to play in the final though.
Excellent performance by Kaneria, Yasir, Shoaibs, and Sami.

ok, before everyone claims a piece of Shobby Malik, I should point out the bond that he and I share aka the Sialkot connection. I long before this knock took him in under my wing. He is, therefore, officially my boy as is Hafeez.
The rest I don't care for and are open for claiming but Shobby and Hafeez are taken.

what a great match, the most exciting so far in this tournament, finally we say batsman dominate a little bit.
Shoaib Malik proved to be the difference, he batted really well, but you have to feel sorry for the Kiwis, they were missing quite a few of their players.
Anyways, brilliant bowling by Kaneria, his googly dismissal to Cairns was plain beauty, a very talented bowler.
Sami, Shoaib, Malik and Hafeez all bowled well, never gave too many extra runs, but Shoaibs idiocy shadowed the whole Pakistani victory.
