Great win for Pakistan. It shows the great fighting spirit Rashid and Javed have instilled in this team :jhanda:

*Shoaib Malik - A star is born. Not only did he make a brilliant 74, he took what to me was the catch of the tournament to dismiss Styris. Well played Malik *

:dhimpak: :dhimpak:

Hope they learned something....Well Taufeq hasnt had his best performance yet! Im still waiting for hi, to proof what he his capable of!

FROM CRICKINFO
Just to keep everyone upto date, there was a buzz around the ground
and amongst tv crews as the spotted some possible 'thumbnailing'
of the ball attributed to Shoaib Akhtar, we are not aware if its
been taken up officially

yes something on these lines, though the tv shots wernet conclusive enough but Kiwi commentator made a hel out of it and started reading criket laws and stuff like that. I anticipate a fine on Shoaib.

I never understood whats the purpose of it?
Can some one clarify?
Why ppl do it and how does it effect the game play or the bowling?

Great job by Pakistan:hula:…

i agree that some of the guppies on this board are sooooo impatient, it really irritates. Okay they have won today, thats extremely well done but you guys need to realize that this team is on a learning curve and cannot stay on a winning streak for long. They will make mistakes and hopefully learn from it. Whats important that they win big matches like the one today

Without naming i will give some examples of guppies irritating impatience.

  • Our inexperienced batsmen gets out on indifferent pitches and guppie sstart cursing them and how are they playing trash. Without realizing that so-called matured batsmen like Jayasuriya, atapattu , Cairns and Sangakarra has hardly passed double figures in this whole tournament :smack: Pitches were this bad.

  • Rashid gets out and ppl immediately start calling for Moin’s come back and cursing Rashid as a captain :smack:

  • Mohammad Hafiz was the only batsmen prior to this match with a fifity in this tournament and there were demands from ppl to axe him :hehe:

Its high time we realize that we shouldnt lose heart when this young team loses, whats important that they show fighting spirit and willingness to fight till the end and That has already been shown in the 8 matches they have played so far…
