after seeing this post i checked out her stuff and within 24 hours placed an order - i am never that spontaneous!

so far so good, she has been very helpful and quick to reply too but what matters is the clothes so lets see what happens in a few weeks time when they arrive - will keep you posted!

yes both my suits arrived a few weeks back...overall the embroidery on both suits is very good and both suits (once complete) are of a good standard. 1st suit - its the maroon suit that was her profile pic for a while, the material at the top is different to what it looks in the pics and the material she used for the churidaar was a cheap one but overall the look of the suit is good BUT the style doesnt suit me which is my fault not herssecond suit i ordered.... the bottom half is beautiful - really lovely embroidery BUT she replaced the top panel with a very cheap fabric which is nothing like what i had requested.SO - solution? she was initially helpful, said she will remake the top half with a better fabric (admitted she was wrong) she promised to have it ready and posted but that was two weeks ago and she still hasnt sent it...overall... she is a nice lady and i think the fact she has agreed to rectify her mistake is good although it has been a bit slow and i am yet to see it! But dont take this as too much of a negative she has explained personal reasons and to be fair i havent paid her my final installment yet which we have agreed will be when i recieve the final part of my outfitFinal thoughts:she is very quick in replying, very pleasant to speak to and she initially posted my items out to me very quickly. i am not keen on the hassle of having to take my kameez in parts to a darzi here and have it fixed especially as finding a good darzi in the west is an issue in itself but these things happen!

I was emailing back and forth with her, her prices are reasonable. She does have a minimum of 2 suits to order and takes 75% of the payment upfront or the full amount…I may get her kamdani suits, liked those a lot

I am still waiting for my top half - supposed to have been posted today - lets see.

I will still need to find a tailor to fix it even after it arrives :(

I suppose as long as i end up with a nice finished product!

I got my outfits today and they are ok. I guess because I never order casual clothes, these seemed a little lacking to me. Then again, I paid less than half of what I usually pay for the fancy stuff (per outfit).

I too ordered the maroon pishwas that she used as a profile pic a while back and it is ok. My problem with all the outfits is that they don't have zippers. Despite this, two of the four outfits fit pretty well. The other two, both pishwases- it would have been nicer to have the zippers to make the fit nicer; right now they sort of protrude in the back. Also one of them is difficult to get into and out of because there is no zipper.

One of the four would fall under the fancy category and the kaam on that one looks nice, but the dupatta is kind of ugly. The fabrics are just ok, nothing great. Also all except one is lined with cotton and the lining is separate from the actual dress- so there is a cotton dress that serves as the lining and then you put the actual dress on top.

I am not likely to order from her again, but mostly because I don't have too many occassions to wear casual suits to. My basis for comparing casual stuff is very limited so please take my review with a grain of salt.

i think she is a little expensive (but thats my personal opinion ) but glad that she is trustworthy :)
