no offense to blind nationalists, but PPP which always thrives on blind following based on lisaniat, had its leaders promote sharab right from the start i.e. bhutto. In fact, I know some drinking people who say that they vote for PPP because in their era, sharab becomes cheap, easily available and the police looks the other way.

Whats wrong with that? Many people drink alcohal in Pakistan even declaring themselves as Christians. Allah ko dhoka dekar clubs main aor hotlon man khulay aam sharab chalti hay. If it is made official beleive me jo nahin peenay waalay woh muft main bhi naheen peetay. Jin ko peena hoti hay woh masjid main beth kar bhi pee latay hain. It is a general thinking in Pakistan that only elite, civilized and classy people drink alcohal. According Naseerudin Shah, who played Mirza Ghalib, was explaining his wife one day that "Allah ne is dunya main khilaanay ka to waaeda kya hay, magar pilanay ka nahin". All most all famous poets and wrtiers we studied in intermediate school were drunkards.

As usual wohi band baja on stupid topic, just to malign PPP, nothing else. Woh shach keh raha hay, aor band baja bajanay waaly mufiqon ki tarah pawitar honay ki murlee baja rahay hain.:)

Laws should immediately be passed in parliament removing this hypcrate ban on alcohal. In my experience people who sell alcohal in Pakistan are the most vocal on ban talk against alcohal knowing that their profit of margin will decline considerabley if government remove the restriction:)

It was old thing to get license .Shops were officially opened during Mush and friendship era in Sindh and it was made easier in other provinces .

Is hamam main sab nangay hain .
