I use to drink back home in my merry England of beef and beer but I’ve given up (gunaah aur bhi bahot hain zindagi mein karney ko) but I don’t see the point in drinking alcohol free versions of alcoholic drinks, why not pop or fruit juice?
However I don’t see anything wrong with them religiously. The Holy Koran only forbids Al-Khamr (Intoxicants), not apple cider or beer if it’s non-alcoholic.
You’ve got me all naustalgic now, I’ll pine for England all day now… I don’t like beer that much (always preffered alco-pops and girly drinks) but a nice roast beef dinner with crispy roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and steamed veg covered in thick onion gravy would go down very nicely followed by sponge and custard, I’m sick of rich spices and tandoor ki roti… Ohhh how I miss the hilly valley of our village in the English country side and the cool crisp fizaa and a special someone to warm upto behind mouldy farmyard wallls when it got rainy and windy in the hilly countryside.
