Firstly, here are some gems for you. Donkeys and horses (in some madhabs) are haram too. The last time I checked, neither one needs shade to be domestically bred. So, I guess that sorta debunks Joe’s lame ass “scientific theory” now, doesnt’t it? I would like to see Joe explain --assuming his “shady” (pun intended) theory is right --why donkeys and horses were decreed haram by the wise men of Arabia and israel?
Secondly, And what is this shyt about miss piggy not being a wise ecological investment? Pigs are omnivores, just like cockroaches are. If the Europeans bred pigs in farms --while the pigs competed with human food sources – why would it be so inconceivable to imagine that Arabs wouldn’t do the same? In fact, to cite omnivorous nature of pigs as a reason for its prohibition by Arabs as haram is just pure sophistry, and makes Joe’s arguments quite --um, lame.

Simple, draft animals such as mules, donkeys and horses are not eten anywhere in the world except your friends china. They are too valuable as transport vehicles. That is why. Your post is meanigless.

According to your new and improved theory, camels should be haram too, since they make excellent modes of transportation. But alas, they are not.
I don’t avoid pork for any scientific reasons. I just avoid it because that’s a command of Allah. Even if I could come up with 100 reasons why one should not eat pork, but then you come up with 101 reasons why one should eat it, I still wouldn’t eat it.
Not to speak of pork, I wouldn’t even eat any meat that is not considered halaal. I wouldn’t even eat beef, chicken, lamb etc as long as it wasn’t halaal.
