Some of the U.S. POW’s appeared to have been executed with a bullet to the forehead.

Very unfortunate. But I did not see you condemning similar treatment against the captured Afghan/Taliban soldiers when that war at it's peak?
:k:
yeah Malik you see American lives are fare more important then those of Muslims.
In the words of Bin Laden…Let them suffer, as how we have suffered!

I don't recall dead bodies of Afghan/Taliban being shown on TV.
Be it American, Muslim, American-Muslim, all lives are equal.
Bin Laden, a good man to look to Majestic, he knows all about killing Mulslims and Non-Muslims alike.

Do they have to be shown on tv to have been brutally tortured and slaughtered by the US and it's allies? But you have proved my point nevertheless...thank you.

I did not say that, you sure did misunderstood me
Yeah, i saw the tape on Al- Jazeera- pretty disturbing. Why don't they want to show it on CNN? Is it because the US public might see for once what real war is like? Not the modified version they get. They sure need it as a wake up call.
And What is Rumsfield crowing about? For the past couple a days all we've been seeing is Iraqi POW with their hands on their heads, now that Al- Jazeera shows US POW, it suddenly becomes a violation of Geneva Convention. Very convenient. Not to mention, all the laws violated getting into this war in the first place.
I feel for the POWs, the army, the wounded, the dead, on both side- this war is just not worth it. Its a farce. Those people didn’t die for a just cause but following orders from leaders above- and sad part is, these very leaders are probably enjoying a decent meal right now, gloating over the war booty. I'd like to see Bush, Rumsfield and Blair at the frontline for a day, or in the shoes of the mother whose little baby's head was split open. Not as badly though, as I want to see them at the Hague one day.
Anyway- like Iraqi TV gives two hoots what anyone says- when one is in war-all laws go out the window. Just like they did at Camp X-ray.

Kenny no its different, Camp X-ray was all Muslims they are nothing, this is the great powerful Americans.
Makes me sick
The soldiers are POWs. Some Muslims on this thread have actively adopted an extremist approach in dealing with the captured US soldiers, to them I say, you are no less ruthless than the Americans you hate.
Islam, International law, and our humanity dictates that the US soldiers be treated fairly, be fed, receive medical care. Do not forget that they too are sons and daughters, brothers and sisters of people, more importantly they are humans just like us. If you call the US treatment towards Muslim combatants barbaric, wouldn't it hypocritical for Muslims to treat American soldiers in an ill manner?
I feel sorry for the guy who "just fixes things" he probably does. There are maintainance people, cooks, doctors that go with the troops, why should we label him as killers?
It's really comfortable to sit back at home, make wide claims about things happening on the battlefield, but don't lose you insaniyat in the process. Remember that Allah listens to only those with rehmats in their hearts.

well he does fix things to do with the war, so he's as much involved as the others.
it's always very depressing to see casualties....or prisoners....be it iraqi or americans..........for the same matter, that person was one of your colleagues and u would have been drinking a cup of coffee together during the break at your work...
Re: Al jazeera tape
welll... in this war.. it wouldnt fair to assume that only iraqi will suffer.. an the media wouldnt even tell us if AL JAZEERA didnt.. they want us to think oh we r doing great.. an the Govt wants us to think that we r doin great an we were right in goin to the war against Iraq.. n when al jazeera showed the poor caught soldiers Rumsfield had to tell the people here.. despite that im sure he didnt want to.. why would he... people are already against this war an seein americancasualties is gonna make their feelings stronger.. this war is pointlesssss an it should really stop.. IF the presidents daughter were out there in the Iraq fightin .. i think then the war wold have been over before it even started.. Bush nor his administration could ever kno the pain of the people who r out there fightin because none of their immediate family is out their fight for OILLLL.. its ALL about the oil.. from the way they have made the plans to "FIX" Iraq.. i think he shold want his little oil producing colony there..
and who r they to bring in the geneva convention now.. they have already set the precedent for defying the UN an if UN can be defied... everything else can be defied... US IS the one who set the trend of defying so they shouldnt be whining like a lttle baby cryin for raising the genva convention...
this war is showing the ugly part now … it is sad that innocent people are getting killed at both sides ..
but what is this geneve convention bla bla all about, CNN were showing iraqi captured soldiers sitting on the floor, why wasnt there anything about the geneva convention then ..
btw i feel sorry for the captured US soldiers .. they are marely kids .. hope Iraqis wont kill them
RajputF :k:
RF buddy if everyone starts to think like you this would would become a very peaceful place

Excuse me miss, by your logic if you live in the UK, you are also involved in the war, as your taxes, and fees towards the government is used to fund the war.
Let's not make people guilty by association. The Army is a good place of employment for many people who want to enjoy job security and benefits, in regards to the situation in the US. If this poor fellow or some others ended up captured by the Iraqis, you want them tortured or killed?
Keep them as POWs, fine, but don't take away the humanity in your heart.

I agree that as muslims the prisoners of wars should be treated well. But seeing the carnage that is being carried out in Iraq, where who knows how many people have been killed, how do you think the people of Iraq should react? Even our army has been carrying out disgusting acts like these, but they are by individuals. Some people are talking of the justification/legality of this action. I say is this action of the US justified?

Even the Americans are saying that 10-12 soldiers are missing.

I'm sorry, but I dont feel sorry for the US *******s that have been killed in Iraq who are there to drop bombs of thousands of tons on Iraqi people. The only thing is that the Americans would have hidden the event, but the truth is out now, and the truth is that the Americans dont seem to have a walk over as they were predicting in the beginning.
